Did you try a pair on in person?
I have a pair in my person collection, I am a size (7.5-8) I actually ordered my pair in an 8 because I didn’t want the tip to deform (if you know what I mean from the original Cortez)
I love my pair and I’m glad. I would say these are true to size, they do not run small love.

I’m like a tiny 5 🤣, that’s great. I was gonna get them personally made i live in New York and there is a shoemaker in Brooklyn that made all shoes for club kids with the platforms like that. I never did it tho. Thank you that is good to know tho.

@bkot16 I have seen a few custom platform sneakers before and even some worn by Madonna or lady Gaga before. May have been the same custom shoe designer if it’s in NY.

@fashion_scrilla Where in the UK is Margate? Have not heard of it. Usually do a yearly trip but COVID stopped that. Hopefully 2022 will be the year to resume international travel safely. Had a trip planned in 2020 and fall 2021 both got canceled.

@altonfamily Margate is on England’s South East Coast, it looks almost like Santa Cruise beach area in California! It’s a really lovely place! I went during October one year but it’s set up like a beach board walk sort of and there are tons of arcades, plenary of great and unique seaside food and for some magical reason there are tons of buried vintage shops! Sometimes even an entire wall is for sale (actual iron rods or lamps of walls ect... movie set props, clothing, jewelry, you name it!

@altonfamily Margate is a magical place, and Stonehenge is not too far of a drive from Margate, it would be a lovely little detour trip for you to plan if you can during your next visit to Europe when you feel that it is safer for you to travel. You would have a splendid time for certain!🥂
