@genacote oh sweetie, thanks so much💕💕. It’s been pretty rough. She was my BABY. We went through so much together. We had hospice come in late Friday and peacefully let her sleep forever. One of the HARDEST things I’ve had to do in my 57 yrs🐕🐕🐕😭😭🙏

Hi, I just saw your post. I am so sorry for the loss of your sweet, beautiful Honey😪. I know all too well how devastating this is to go through, as we had to put our fur angel Buddy to sleep in September. It's heartbreaking to watch them suffer only to have to let them go. No matter how much time has passed, the hurt is still there. Just know, you gave her a wonderful life and beautiful memories to hold on to. My Buddy was probably there to greet Honey 🐶🐩😇 Hug to you!

@holnx003 So, so sad 💔. My heart goes out to you. Been in the same situation. Six months prior, he was diagnosed with chf and enlarged heart. Then he had fainting spells and his kidneys were failing due lasix meds. Then a week before he wasn't eating so our vet said it was time to let him go. He passed peacefully in our home in his favorite spot. I know what you're going through. If you need anything, I'm here.

@angel_witch honey was with us as a puppy mill rescue (puppy) from Georgia. Had her 11 glorious years. She had nasal tumor.. we didn’t want her suffering. Called in lap of love hospice vet. Got to peacefully say goodbye at home, thank God. I still tear up. She was so smart. I still have her brother mr. Peanut. Sorry for your loss too🙏

my hunny was sweet and smart as well buster is smart but he's very much a boy and he's finicky eating and he doesn't go to the bathroom well so very very very different as well you keep your chin up and although I have a new one Kiki it's not the same I don't think it ever will be ☺️👍

Yes, I know the feeling of lost for my furry baby passed away this year, still missing him so much. He would always be by side and help me fall asleep and was awesome protector of the home, so alert to the end. Aloha, Bunny

I saw ur sweet poem tribute to Honey and got a little teary. It was so heartfelt and lovely. I adopt senior dogs and just lost my oldest, Maddy, at 18 yrs young in April. She was the sweetest lil pup with the biggest personality. I've lost a few doing what I do but it never gets easier. The saying really is true... pets leave paw prints on our hearts. 🐾❤️

pay attention to their teeth in particular, a bad tooth can lead to massive issues with them, and their little bodies are really efficient otherwise, they have none of the problems typical with bigger dogs
