rereese @beth_marks hi! It’s all going to come down to personal preference. For reference I’m a 6 in lululemon tights, an 8 in lululemon shorts/joggers/on the fly pants, I have a very boxy figure, and I don’t like anything to be super tight fitting (I size up in sports bras and tight fit shirts), and I sized up to the 10 - again, I’m super weird about not wearing anything very tight. If you have any hesitation about the waistband being too tight I would err on the side of caution and size up :)

beth_marks that's the problem.... I mostly wear their skirts for tennis and have been wearing 6, but recently tried an 8 and its a tinge tiny too big, but comfy and totally wearable where as the 6's are prob a tinge on the small size but still comfortable not too tight feeling... so I'm really unsure of how to go forward with this skirt!

rereese @beth_marks understandable! I have a couple pace setter and pleat to street skirts from lululemon in an 8, and to me this skirt definitely runs smaller than those skirts. If the lululemon tennis skirts in a 6 are on the smaller side then I think the waistband on this skirt in a 6 would be rather tight/small. Would the actual measurement of this waistband be helpful (to compare to a skirt you currently own)?

rereese @beth_marks measured flat, straight across, and unstretched the skirt in a 6 is approx 13” and the 8 is approx 14” across

rereese @beth_marks I don’t have a tiny waist either (I’m super boxy shaped) and I think the wide waistband coupled with the volume of the skirt is super flattering (I ended up buying all three colors lol). It’s all going to come down to personal preference, but I’d suggest sizing up (I have this dress listed in both a 6 and an 8) :)
