franna_finds @pjsellsthings That's the problem. It varies. I just remeasured my bust and smallest part of my high waist. Bust is 39" and smallest part of waist is high on my body and is 30". I know you said you would lay out the dress and measure it. That would be most accurate I think. Thank you so much 😊

pjsellsthings @franna_finds what is your most consistent U.S. size? I will measure it, but I can't measure it stretched. An Asian XL is equivalent to a U.S. 10 and then there is the stretch factor. I have to finish up something, then I'll go measure.😁

franna_finds @pjsellsthings ohhh. Ok. I won't fit a size 10. I wear a size 10 in jeans but a 12 or 14 on top for my bust. I usually wear a large in women's and an XL in Junior's but it varies. Thank you 😊

pjsellsthings @franna_finds That is the standard rule of thumb for Asian/EU sizing. Not an absolute. So I just measured flat, no stretch, seam to seam on 1 side. Pit to pit is 19" without stretching it. Fullest part of busy is 16.5" without stretching. waist is 15.5" without stretching it. Hips are 19" without stretching it. It's not a flimsy fabric. It's really nice, and made to hug your body. It seems like it would fit you beautifully, but you'll have to make that decision.🙂😁

Anyway, when you make an offer to someone, I suggest first looking at the ORIGINAL price if listed, and then the selling price. How much of a discount is ALREADY being offered by the list price? Then THE FIRST CALC is to deduct 20% if OVER $15 and $2.95 if UNDER $15 on the list price. Thats how much the seller will make. Thats why many sellers will just block lowball offers.

If buyer makes offer say, $20 (75% off) seller only makes $15 on NWT item valued at $79. Sellers make $0 on shipping. Shipping is 100% Poshmark. If buyer gives shipping discount with offer, it comes out of their earnings. It should be considered. Sometimes PM gives shipping discount, but only if seller has met the PM conditions.

THIS dress is made for more of a "pear shape" smallish woman, as it doesn't seem to fit just right on a larger bust. like a very full C into D. I love these vintage dresses, but there are none so far that would fit me, so I'm content to sell them to people who can wear them!😁
