Pics are info only & rings are listed separately for sale. Moissanite is a Real jewel of its own & while many use it instead of diamonds as they sparkle even more than a diamond and last just as long, it is NOT a “fake diamond” such as Cz. It’s not a diamond replica but rather a separate jewel same as putting in a Ruby or Emerald into a ring. They’ll give many lifetimes of sparkle that you can pass down in your family. Bottom 3 gold rings: 1.5ct, 2ct & 3ct 1ct D quality Moissy = retails $600

bbbabe3715 Thank you for this info Can you please explain the last photo? I've no idea how to interpret it.
Nov 17Reply
missstephlee
missstephlee @bbbabe3715 sure 😊. They rate the color the same way they do a diamond but for Moissanite they often label it with the names above so if you see a “Pure Light Moissanite” then you know it’s color grade is a D, E or F and is fairly colorless whereas a “Bright Light Moissanite” is going to have a slight color to it.

missstephlee Moissanite is a gem itself (not just a replica/fake diamond) but looks nearly identical to a diamond so a lot of time people want to have a “white/colorless” one to use instead of a diamond but also many like the other colors and use them instead of other gemstones.

missstephlee My personal fave are the blues although I’ll prob end up with one of each color as I like them all. The sparkle and fire is just as intense (or some day more) than a diamond no matter the color you choose. Lmk if you’ve any more questions 😊

bobbilonia I’m so glad I saw/read this! Thank you for the enlightenment about all of it (& for following me which is what led me to this post/article (?)) I have been trying to put together all the info I could find on it for a while, but, honestly I just ended up more confused than when I started looking into it. This explains everything perfectly!

designdiva2020 I Hi I notice all different size and styles of rings. Do you set loose Moissanite’s yourself and if so what are the options and what metal do you use ... sorry I’m a little confused. Thanks in advance :)
Sep 12Reply
missstephlee
missstephlee @designdiva2020 @designdiva2020 Yes, all of my Moissanite rings are done by me. I have them individually listed in my closet. Each one will have its specifics on it. I use only Precious metals. Generally for 3ct & under I use solid 925 silver with Rhodium (a platinum) or 14k over it. Solid would up the price a couple hundred. For larger pieces I use solid platinum (or 14k gold for yellow).

kp5323 @missstephlee can you get any Moissanite emerald cuts like the first picture in this ad? Thanks !
Oct 22Reply
missstephlee
missstephlee @kp5323 Not an add, that’s my hand in my backyard & those are all rings I made ☺️. I have my own Moissanites that I have cut & as of 2 days ago all future gems will have my trademark inscribed on the girdle along with the Gemologists report #. But that’s going forward, I didn’t inscribe my current inventory but it’s still just me & I can do any shape or cut 😁.

Oct 22Reply
queenmomscloset
queenmomscloset can you do a ring in rose gold setting with a morgenite color stone?
Oct 23Reply
missstephlee
missstephlee @tpolicz I can but I tend to work mostly with Moissanites over Morganite bcz it has more fire and it’s harder; 9+ MOH vs 7.5 MOH which means it will get scratched more with daily wear and the scratches make it appear fuller/less sparkle over time. I don’t care for rose gold bcz it’s just a mixture of 75% gold with 25% copper to change the color and copper is non-hypoallergenic & copper is the element that can cause metals to turn your finger green/black.
Oct 23Reply
missstephlee
missstephlee @tpolicz With that said, I’ll do custom orders exactly however the customer wants it but I generally only do custom order that are closer to $1000+, but minimum of $500 (w/ half deposit) bcz less than that I don’t make enough to justify taking time away (it takes me 3-4 weeks) to make something that has a very slim profit.
Oct 23Reply
missstephlee
missstephlee @tpolicz * I meant duller, not fuller (typo above). The scratches make fuller looking and it lose its sparkle over time.
Oct 23Reply
missstephlee
missstephlee Ugh...same typo ^ 🤦‍♀️ Lol. Duller not fuller Lol
Oct 23Reply
missstephlee
missstephlee @tpolicz I added a couple slides of info above on the different metals/golds used.

Oct 27Reply
pamelaslye
pamelaslye 2 k. White gold ?
Nov 03Reply
missstephlee
missstephlee @pamelaslye I don’t have white gold as I use silver under rhodium instead of gold under rhodium (which is what white gold is). And it’s the round brilliant I showed you. I don’t have any emeralds under 5ct.

littlewroten85
littlewroten85 Hi there, do you make crushed ice hybrid cushion cut? Thanks!
Jul 26Reply
missstephlee
missstephlee @littlewroten85 Yes, I use the Hybrid Cushion as my preferred cushion cut unless a customer asks for a differ one specifically. On gemologist reports they still lump it together as a “cushion modified brilliant” for either but I uploaded pic (last one) to show my cut being the one you describe 🙂
Jul 26Reply
littlewroten85
littlewroten85 @missstephlee awesome. Do you find that they’re the most diamond like? Do you sell the stones loose? Thanks!
Jul 26Reply
missstephlee
missstephlee @littlewroten85 Yes. I want them to match seamlessly if next to real diamond. I have sold a few loose. What size/cut are you looking for?
Jul 27Reply
littlewroten85
littlewroten85 @missstephlee I want a cushion. I’m thinking around 2 carats.
Jul 28Reply
missstephlee
missstephlee @littlewroten85 I have a couple 3ct Cushions on me currently but I can have a 2ct cut/certified & have it in about a week. I’ll do a 2ct hybrid cush for $650 on posh & $450 off.

troyandjanq
troyandjanq Do you have a radiant, emerald, princess or asscher cut in a 5 1/4, 5 1/2, 5 3/4 or a 6?
Apr 07Reply
troyandjanq
troyandjanq Never mind, I just looked at your prices and they are more expensive than diamonds of the same size. I’d much rather have a real diamond if I’m gonna pay that kind of price. Thank you anyway.
Apr 07Reply
missstephlee
missstephlee @troyandjanq A real diamond with a clarity rating of VVS1 or Flawless with a D grade color (aka clear, not yellow tinged) would be well over $20k although a low quality diamond that is H, I, J, etc & has inclusions in it would be low enough to compare to a high quality Moissanite.
Apr 08Reply
missstephlee
missstephlee It just depends on if one values the idea of a diamond more than the quality & beauty of a gem. Both are so hard that neither will get scratched & will last for many many generations though. @troyandjanq
Apr 08Reply
missstephlee
missstephlee @troyandjanq I make my rings so I can always put in a diamond (or any stone wanted) into any of my pieces. Bcz I also grow my own trademarked Moissanite as well, I have a direct working relationship with the lab & they will grow what I ask them too if you’re interested in a lab diamond. My hubs is a molecular bio & creates my “recipes” to push the limits of quality higher on stones we grow.
Apr 08Reply
missstephlee
missstephlee @troyandjanq I do have all those cuts. A quick search in Google brings that up for $4000-9000 & up for a a G-H rating (D is the highest which is what mine are). My 2ct princess cut is $450. (On posh price which adds their 20% fee to my prices)

persiandoll311 So thorough! Thank you for explaining the metals! I don't know why some of us have a harder time than others, I swear my skin is like a built in tester 😂 it takes under a day for me to strip jewelry and turn black blue or green .....I can't go near a lot of it and let's face it ..it's not cheap!
