I made these centerpieces for my sons wedding. They have beautiful burgundy colored flowers, pine cones, babies breath and green leaves. Very rustic looking. There are two cut out hearts in the front and in the back. The cutouts are covered with a red translucent film and when the battery operated candle is lit....The red heart illuminates! Looks amazing on a shelf or table. The top picture shows two centerpieces, but the price is for one centerpiece. I have six in total.

tanyaraevHow many centerpieces?

Nov 03Reply

tdhilyard@tanyaraev Hello! I believe I have 5 left. Just an FYI: I can make as many as you need. You can choose the colors of flowers you want too. If you have any other questions please let me know. 😊

Nov 03Reply

vpedroppHi! Do you make these? I am looking for something like this for my wedding but need different colors :)

Nov 17Reply

tdhilyard@vpedropp yes I do! I made 18 of them for my sons wedding and a big bride and groom one. I can make them with any colors you want and any type of flower, if I can find them. Lol When is the wedding? How many would you need? 😊

Nov 17Reply

vpedropp@tdhilyard hi! I would need 10 made! Would love to see the bride and groom one too! Our colors are navy, silver and white so anything along those lines! Any kind of flowers too! Wedding is 02/08/20!

Nov 17Reply

tdhilyard@vpedropp oh my, I would just be thrilled to make these for your wedding but I don’t think I would have enough time to do so. It took me 6 months to make my sons. It wouldn’t take that long for urs but I don’t know for sure if I could get them all done in that time frame.

Nov 17Reply

tdhilyardI make these from scratch basically. The box is five separate pieces of pressed wood. I cut the hearts out on each side. I then wood burn the wood and glue all the pieces together. Then I glue the twine around all the edges. It’s very time consuming. I wish I had more time. 😩 Thank you so much for asking though and I wish you all the best. Congratulations on your upcoming nuptials! 🌷

bela9R these on timer ty

Nov 27Reply

tdhilyard@bela9 no, the heart in the back lifts up and inside is a battery operated candle that you switch on and off. If you have any other questions please let me know. Happy Thanksgiving! 😊

Nov 27Reply

bela9How long is the timer and wat size battery ty

Nov 27Reply

bela9How long for the timer like 4 hours

Nov 27Reply

tdhilyard@bela9 no they are not on a timer. They are just those battery operated tea lights inside. You switch them on and off when ever you want. Idk the size of the battery. They are included with the tea light. The heart in the back lifts up for you to be able to turn the candle on and off 😊

Feb 27Reply

marymccamanCan you make with purple and white flowers? I would need two or three.

Feb 29Reply

tdhilyard@marymccaman Hello! 😊 I most definitely can, but they do take some time to make. When would you need them by?

Feb 29Reply

tdhilyardI just wanted to let you know the process so you have an idea of what has to be done...to explain the time required to make them. 😊 I make the boxes from 5 pieces of perch wood. I cut the two hearts out, (one on each side). I wood burn the wood before putting the box together. I put the twine rope around all the edges, and place the red film over the heart cut-outs. I then place the flower bouquet.

Feb 29Reply

tdhilyardIt’s a lot of work, but they are definitely worth it cause they are beautiful! I absolutely love making them! I think purple and white flowers would look amazing! 🥰

Feb 29Reply

barbielinkThese are absolutely beautiful! You’re very talented! My daughter is getting married October 17 if everything opens up by then! Her colors are Fall colors burgundy, rust, golden, forest green, sunflowers have you tried them with hearts on all four sides? Also I would love to see a picture of a larger one used on a large long table if you have it. I am thrilled I saw your beautiful work. If she found the exact flowers &foliage she wants, could she send it to you once we have paid for everything?

May 18Reply

tdhilyard@barbielink how many would she need? My son has the large one I made for the bridal table at his house. I will get my daughter in law to send me a picture and I’ll send it to you If you could send me your e mail. When you send it don’t write out the entire address, they don’t like it when you have outside conversations here. Mine is tdhilyard and its at yahoo.

May 18Reply

tdhilyardI have a ton of fall flowers. I can send you a picture of those too. Sunflowers and beautiful orange, red, yellow and brown fall flowers. My son had a fall themed outdoor wedding and I made the arch they got married under with a full Bouquet of fall flowers on top. It was just beautiful! Thank you for saying I’m talented. That was very nice of you. I just love creating things and doing crafts. 🥰

May 18Reply

barbielink@tdhilyard very cool! Mine is barbielink and it is at me.com it’s an old Apple version after mac.com was discontinued. Believe me I would’ve much rather had Mac.com

tdhilyard@joan_moody Thank you! 😊 I just loved making them. I wanted to make something spec from scratch for my son’s centerpieces at his wedding. They do look amazing lit up in dim light. I have mine sitting on my fire place and I still get mesmerized by them! Lol I would be happy to hold them for you. I can put a “not for sale” sign on them. Just let me know when your ready and I’ll take the sign off. 🌷

Aug 29Reply

tdhilyard@joan_moody no problem at all! I would be happy to hold them for you. 😊 I use to make a lot of crafts, but I started selling on PoshMark and a few other on-line sites and it takes up so much of my time…that I have let my creative side go on the back burner. I do miss it a lot. I will put the sign on them now and keep it on until you are ready. You made my day with your kind words! Thanks again and have a wonderful day! ♥️🌷

tdhilyardI sent a discounted price of 10% off the price and $4.99 shipping, but I looked and for some reason the offer was not sent to you…I don’t know why. Can you try “liking” it again and I’ll try and send it to just you and see if it sends. If not, I will re-list it and if you would “like” the new listing and it should work. 😊

Sep 03Reply

tdhilyard@joan_moody It is such a horrible disorder. Especially these days. Again, I do hope you feel better soon. You did purchase just the one. I believe when you go to purchase it asks how many, cause I have multiple for sale. Then you choose the number of how many you want to buy. They are sold separately.

Sep 03Reply

tdhilyardLet me know if you do want to purchase two of them and I can cancel the order so you can add another one on to the purchase. If you only want the one that’s perfectly fine, I just wanted to make sure you knew. 😊🌷

Sep 03Reply

Sep 03Reply

tdhilyard@joan_moody I am so sorry your in so much pain! I wish I could do something to help. 😞 Nothing is worse than being sick! Unfortunately all I can do from my end is to cancel the order and you would have to repurchase it making sure to pick 2 of them. I wish I could do more on my end with you not feeling well. Do you want me to go ahead and cancel the purchase?

Sep 03Reply

debdeb2007Can you kindly tell me if you will be making more of these? Thank you

Jan 13Reply

tdhilyard@debdeb2007 Hello. 😊 No, I’m sorry. I made these centerpieces for my sons wedding and it took me quite some time to do so. Between my full time job and Poshmark, I just don’t have the time. I really do wish I could. A lot of love went into each one! 🥰🌷
