rebelrebel1963 I used to barrel race when I was very young I had an Appoloosa and we moved from having horses and farm animals to Los Angeles and I found boys and I went boy crazy 🤪 😜 and didn't want to shovel poop or ride anymore.I miss that life quit alot.

darleec77 @natnatcatcat Thank you!…..Awwh… I’m so sorry to hear about your mom. I know that must of been very difficult. I lost my mom about 2 years ago at Christmas time. Christmas ain’t been the same since. My granddaughter has taken over my love for barrel racing, and she mostly takes care of the horses. I still love being around them, the sport, and riding. Hurry knee a while back, so it kinda curtailed my appetite for racing. But I still enjoy seeing my granddaughter compete!

natnatcatcat @dcnp58 barrel riding was some of my favorite memories riding with my mom. Trail rides too. LOVED trail rides. Sorry to hear about your mom too. It’s such an empty weird feeling all the time. Holidays…. New babies…. Just even going out to dinner… lots of reminders that they’re gone. ❤️

angmomto2 @darleec77 sure. My favorite vacation spot has ghost crabs and a large cross like the one in your pic except it is up on a high piece of land right beside the water. 😀

darleec77 @angmomto2 the cross is in St Augustine, FL. The Cathedral Basilica of St. Augustine, a Spanish Colonial Renaissance cathedral located on the corner of Cathedral Street and St. George Street and is considered home to North America's first Catholic parish. The little Ghost Crab was taken at Navarre Beach up in the panhandle of Florida between Ft Walton and Pensacola. He just stopped in his tracks right in front of me, looked at me and so I took his picture!
