@shoefloozy Mine is for a second marriage engagement. We do a lot of manual labor, flipping houses. care for a vintage home, 3 dogs ect.. I figured I won't wear it much, so it will always be I in great shape.

@ruthmbullion I understand! We live on an acre in the middle of the desert, and I'm always working outside. Plus, we have very active dogs. It's rare I wear any jewelry but a plain wedding band.

@csardine Thank you! My jeweler tells me that because the setting is solid platinum, higher heat is required to resize the metal & the high heat might yellow the stone. So to resize, he’d unseat the stone, resize the ring, then reset—which would run $100-200. So it’s not that it can’t be done, I guess, it’s that it would be much more complicated than usual & more expensive. 🌺
