I just bought a stamped Chanel necklace, with the box. Here on posh. Only to be extremely disappointed to see it wasn’t the real deal. Beware of these jewelry pieces that have stamps and everything! I did research all night long and found websites (all the above pictures are from the website I found) selling such pieces for under $80. Lol. I think That’s where sellers are getting these from. Just wanted to let you know what I found out I’m only buying from Chanel directly from now on.

shirrio Just know Chanel quality and right away you can tell if it’s the real deal. Also if a seller only has one or two listings it’s a red flag. If they don’t have a receipt or all of the original packaging it’s a red flag. a reliable seller with established ratings with proof of purchase with original packaging and cards is the only way to go. fancypantsoff I just learned from some drama happening on instagram that the chanel jewelry move their stamps around depending on year & thats a good way to spot if its real or not (but one have to look up where the stamp ended) just thought i'd share since I learned it so recently!

shirrio @noddan1 yes I’ve also learned that if you’re seeing any blur or unclear lettering/number it’s fake. Chanel is crystal clear no matter how small the stamp is :)
