rougelips @ginajl51 Yes, the measurements are taken when the garment is on a flat surface. The pants part does have some give, but the top isn't stretchy, but it has an elastic at the upper hem to hold it its place :)

bear1ron I want to purchase this but need some advice on sizing. I’m a M top and S bottom. Does it stretch a decent amount? What size would you recommend and may I exchange ( not return ) if necessary?

rougelips @bear1ron Good morning! The top part (bodice) does not have much stretch due to the embroidery. There is al elastic at the top edge to stay in place off shoulders. The bottom part does stretch moderately. I am currently out of S or M, will restock on Friday.

rougelips @bear1ron Not hard at all. There are no pockets, or pleats at the waist. They'd have to take in on the sides and maybe inseam. It's just traditional hemmed stitching. Any tailor shop will be able to handle it.

aramg20 @xo4esh I’m nervous to order the small. I have wide hips (size 6 pants) (size 4/6 dresses depending on stretch). I see in the comments it says there’s some stretch on the bottom. I’m small on top so not worried about that. Any advice is appreciated 😊Unfortunately I don’t know my exact measurements nor do I have measuring tape.

rougelips @aramg20 I totally understand your concern. The bottoms do have some stretch beyond its measurements. But the top doesn’t because of all the applique. My personal honest opinion is that you are safe to order Small.
