ragamuffin1990 @audrey_fee All houses in areas with tornadoes have basements that are rug underground, and there’s areas in the basement you go in during a Tornado Warning - like a bathroom without windows. I small tornado hit our city when I was in high school; I can’t remember much about that though due to health problems. My dad is a meteorologist so I feel safe with him! :)

People have mentioned to me that people not from here will freak out during a tornado warning and run to the basement, while natives will run outside to go see what’s going on 😂
