chupke_say I did show it to the cobbler and didn’t mention anything you said about being squished in storage. He closely examined the picture and showed me all the damage that he saw just from the pictures. He said even if he fixed the rip seams, the structure of the bag is too damaged to be useful as a purse. It will become worse once you put things like a phone and wallet into it.

chupke_say He said he could sew it together and hot glue some of the other dangling parts (fender I.e) for $50 but couldn’t fix the internal damage. He recommended only using the car as a decor and not as a handbag.

chupke_say I want it because it looks like my first car. I’ll just use it for decor on my desk. I can’t bid what I want because poshmark wont let me bid that low. If the Poshmark minimum is your minimum , then I understand completely and won’t make an offer. I don’t want you to think I’m lowballing you.

chupke_say Thank you for letting me know! The cobbler told me it’s more than a rip and gave me a lengthy explanation as to why he feels that. Of course he could be wrong since he’s only guessing from pics. But since I’m not an expert, I’ll take his word for it. If you are willing to let it go for under $100, I can put in an offer and use it as desk decor. But I’m afraid to offer more even though I love it. Unfortunately I don’t know anyone else I can ask about the repairs. Thanks so much for your time.
