I’ve been there done that in my two years here. I started out on December 14 2017 and took a long break between June 2018 - March 2019. It’s been fun. You’ll learn, meet awesome people. Party host, love notes, ratings - one will grow beyond that. At the end what matters is integrity!
New here, need any help? Do leave a comment below. Made a sale, let’s celebrate! Bought something? Let’s celebrate! There is always a reason to be happy to be joyous. Be cheerful - it’s infectious!!!💕

Stopping by to tell you I really like your appreciation checklist! I am getting out of the clothing resale business! Check out my closet for some good deals. Thanks for the info - agree also about the $10 limit because packing and notes and trying to give a free gift is not worth all the work- so how to you get them to bundle or what do you do
Feb 01Reply

i really needed that. thank you!
I have a clearer understanding of poshmark now.
Feb 01Reply

staga
@peruvianjewel Thank you and more power and love to you! 💕
Feb 01Reply

staga
@lakahn15 Yeah, people calculate based on how much they’d like to pay, I do compromise and sell a little less on profit but not on loss or I plain cancel. I’ve had people buy 4$ and 5$ items in-spite of the listing mentioning “must bundle” I just cancel the transaction. It’s just not fair to the resources. Mostly people understand and accept! 💕
Feb 01Reply

staga
@winterbaby50 Glad to be off service! 💕
Feb 01Reply

lakahn15
@staga this is very helpful- I have been trying to figure out how to cancel an order- could you please direct me to that information! I so appreciate your time and help!!!!
Feb 01Reply

staga
@lakahn15 Sure, click on My Sales - > The order - > Problems / On Order (something like that) - > Cancel Order - > Reason.
But, try to talk to customer before canceling. You don’t want to cancel too many orders. Also try and group them and list to avoid this in future.

This is what I needed to hear. I'm fairly new. I started in November 2019 really selling and I've been a little frustrated. If you look in my closet, you can see I share my things and other Poshers items a lot and my sales are maybe 1, 2, or 3 a week. I'm searching for better inventory because maybe the items I have are just not what's going to sale. I'm going to bundle a lot of my baby girl's inventory. That should help.

Thank you! I love reading this. I’m pretty familiar with your points, but I am fairly new here and it helps to have it reiterated. I am working hard on this, doing it full time, but I am not yet seeing the results I would like for the amount of time that I put in. How long should I give it? Any advice is appreciated. Thank you!😸😽❤️
Mar 05Reply

varietycloset92
This is awesome 👏! I’ve been on here for just 2 months and I’m still learning the ropes! I been a Posh Ambassador just a week ago which is exciting! However, sometimes sales are still tough on here! It’s not as easy as the commercial makes it seem I can tell you that lol
Mar 05Reply

staga
@vtarver2012 Better inventory really helps and so does Including a few name brands Sales will slowly kick in. Keep sharing to parties and between 7-10 pms, helps a lot. You will get there sooner than you think you will, trust me! Good luck! 💕

Love this post! Thanks for sharing insights and humor! Wondering about relisting — when to do and how much it helps. Thoughts? Also, been receiving lots of lowball offers since shipping ⬆️. Have you noticed similar? Always check comp sales before setting price and set in range, though leave room for negotiation. Maybe I’m not willing to go low enough because nothing purchased at thrift, etc. Getting a bit frustrated!

I’m new to this and am feeling discouraged because I have not made a sale yet. Your post told me to stay positive and it was just what I needed! 😊 thank you for sharing positivity and kind words
Mar 09Reply

staga
@magicalanimal It all really depends on timing and what we have for sale. Everyone has full days, but some days are good. Keep sharing especially during party hours and I am sure you will see results! Good luck! 💕
Mar 09Reply

staga
@kareng977 Lowballs come for me from people who have liked, I’d like to call them the low-getters. Lol! They wait for price drops and never unlike or respond but as soon as the price goes up, I get a lowball. It’s how they make low deals. Sometimes I sell it especially when I am in clearance mode which has been once so far. But mostly I try to get rid of them, delete and relist. Good luck! 💕
Mar 09Reply

staga
@emilysarah007 I was there once, I did not make a sale for about two weeks after I listed and shared crazy. The first sale wasn’t even good, it was a lowball and I spent more than I earned and the buyer did not rate even. It was a disappointment but, after that things changed. I started following and sharing strategically - party shares and so on. Sales started coming in. You’d be there soon! Trust me! Good luck! 💕
Mar 09Reply

kareng977
@staga My last one actually countered an offer to likers on a fairly recently listed item with lots of likes. I countered her figuring why not. It only takes a second, and I have had people come up to a price I’m okay with in the past. The one countered my counter but it’s still very low. I swear it has been worse since the shipping increase. 🙁
Mar 09Reply

staga
@kareng977 I am mostly on a good mood and take it lightly, sometimes it’s the same people and the same strategy - I decline and block. I’ve blocked three people so far in two years. Not bad I believe! 😂
Take it easy, mostly they will come up! 💕
Mar 09Reply

kareng977
@staga So far I haven’t had repeat offenders, so to speak 😂, but I have had many more incidences, just from different users. All of my items are things I bought for myself or my son, and so I’m not frantic or anything. I’m just frustrated. Thanks for your encouragement!

Thanks so much for this informative post! I’ve only been poshing seriously for a few months and can relate to everything you wrote! I’m trying not to get too hung up on not getting love notes from my buyers but focusing instead on a good inventory. I really struggle with pricing though...any tips?
Mar 13Reply

staga
@eclectic_esprit I research on pricing - how much is has sold for, how much people have it listed currently here and on other sites. Depending on how long I can wait for the item to sell I prove it. There isn’t a sure steadfast right or wrong for now. But I definitely thing you’d get the hand of it depending on what crowd you attract.
Mar 13Reply

staga
@eclectic_esprit As always following followers of people who sell similar (brands, sizes and styles) and sharing your listings to parties and parties listings to your followers always boosts sales.

Hello @staga Thank you for the follow. I have Poshmark question....I'm a new user since December. You have >250,000 followers and you follow more than 450,000. How do you get more followers and how to you follow so many people? Is there some way to do it automatically? Surely you don't have to click follow on each and every one of those? I could really use the help. Thank you,
Lee
Mar 20Reply

staga
@lleearrowood Hi! I am unsure of automating, I do manually follow. I also play @freddiesfind @gainfollowers these two games and they help enormously in increasing your followers. I strongly believe in “There are no short cuts to success!” Follow 2000 people at least each day and you’re good. Whatever you share shows on the feed of ‘only’ the last 2000 people who follow you. Also Poshmark allows only 15000 new following a day.

Oh wow! I love all of the slides in this post! 😅🥂 (the desperado, the Hounder, and the Stylist) of the three I don’t know which is the funniest... or the most annoying. 😂 there is someone to this day I had to block because every day all day long they’d “style me” by adding random items to a bundle and sending me offers!! At first I thought they did it by accident and accidentally typed my name on the bundle instead of another posher.
Mar 24Reply

fashion_scrilla
The first time I quietly and kindly removed of ALL of the random items from the bundle they created for me... the next thing I knew the posher was doing it every day all day and night I’d wake up to a bundle made of random items I NEVER liked (from a posher I don’t even follow) and Every day they started doing it! 😆 I eventually had to block them!
Mar 24Reply

fashion_scrilla
@staga Lol! There are soooo many experiences I’ve come across these three types of buyers and sellers on here. Thank you for this post! It truly made me laugh out loud! 😅🥂 Cheers dear! May you be blessed in all of the days to come and may you and your loved ones be protected by angels💕

P.S. Your closet is amazing! Your jewelry is absolutely bananas! If you have time to answer a question, would you mind? Some of my items have been brought down so low and still aren’t selling.. Seems like they are stale.. What is fair pricing? You mentioned checking other listings that are similar and i have been doing that.. I work very hard on my closet as well.. What am I doing wrong? Would you mind taking a look at my closet if you have a free minute? Thanks for sharing my listing! xx jen

Mar 28Reply

moonprincess32
Thank you. Your words are very beautiful. 😘
Mar 30Reply

staga
@jobrien3 Hi! Sorry about the delay. We are still getting used to the new normal. Your closet is absolutely perfect. The pictures are clear, pricing is a very subjective thing and you will figure that out based on your audience. For example Buyer A will buy the same item for 500$ from a seller A but would only offer 150 to a seller B.
Mar 30Reply

staga
@jobrien3 That’s probably because of various things like they know Buyer A has a standard, Buyer B might be new and naive and they kind of take advantageous it. So yeah you will quickly learn to price it right.
👉 Delete and relist - I like to get rid of stale likes, it just takes away from the sale (my opinion)
👉 Share like crazy share, as much as you can especially now that we are all home.
Mar 30Reply

staga
@jobrien3
👉 Follow new people - the more people see your listing the more chances they will buy.
👉 I would keep the picture of the item for sale as the first picture and the styles to the end. This kind of attracts and takes away confusion.
Mar 30Reply

jobrien3
@staga oh my gosh! thanks so much for getting back to me and for the kind words! i am actually going to screenshot all this and print it out!
Mar 30Reply

jobrien3
@staga so essentially pricing can be “taken” differently depending on the buyer and the seller’s standards.. gotcha..
Mar 30Reply

jobrien3
@staga ok second point! this is so awesome! so if something has been up for a long time delete and relist? would you bother w the lowest priced items? or just the mid-high range stuff? i was really lax about sharing before but have begun to do a ton of it! re: following.. i never really do that so i will start.. should it be only sellers w like items? this is such great advice!
Mar 30Reply

jobrien3
@staga i agree w you on this... i think i spend so much time putting looks together but it does cause confusion.. before i was trying to create looks on my mannequin but now i just drag and drop from my app which contains a database of sale and not for sale stuff itemized.. so i will rearrange like you said and put the looks after the initial picture! thank you thank you thank you!!! xx jen

@cupcakes_01 So glad you had fun reading! I should also add the mystery shopper : comes in a shops out of nowhere - the dream buyer all of us want and the minimalist seller - who throws your stuff in the box and calls it a day! lol! I just had these two! 😅🤣

Thank you! I have a question. When an offer to a customer has expired, how do I send a new offer to them regarding the same listing? I'm having trouble with this part. I believe I can make more sales if I knew what I was doing wrong when it comes to this part. Thanks again for your help!!
Apr 11Reply

staga
@tmasoner68 Hi! There are two ways to send offer. One if the buyer makes a bundle you can send an offer, if the offer expires you have to just make another offer. But, You can only send three offers without response.
Apr 11Reply

staga
@tmasoner68 If the buyer does not bundle then you have click on the share button you will notice that a search option you will have to enter the tag of the buyer and share it then it will go their bundle or you can click on the buyers bundle and bundle from their likes. Then you can make an offer.
Apr 11Reply

jlk_mermaids
Just wanted to say that your closet is so beautiful with unique pieces. One of the things I wish Poshmark would do is allow a search for a keyword within a closet. Do you have anything like a mermaid? Size 6 ring or a longer chain?
Apr 12Reply

staga
@jlk_mermaids Thank you so much! That’s so true, sometimes even as a seller I’ve wished I could look for something without having to scroll 😂. Let me tag you in a few, I am not sure if that’s what you like. But no harm in trying. But what do you mean by longer chain? I have 22-30” chains/necklaces.
Apr 12Reply

First of all, it’s so nice of you to share the love like this and post advice for others on how to have a great poshmark experience; I thank you for this! I’ve had my account for a few years but only just got into it since I have more time on my hands nowadays due to state stay at home orders.
Secondly, how does one become a posh party host? It’s something I’m really interested in now that I’m so into poshmark! 💛
Apr 13Reply

staga
@nborgella Welcome aboard! Hope you enjoy it here! It’s pretty much random, posh has an algorithm that picks people at random. Every party has a couple of same folks who are actually working for them. Hope that helps!
Apr 13Reply

nborgella
@staga ah yes it helps! Thank you! 😊
Apr 13Reply

jhps_closet
@staga Thank you! I’m new to posh and this is so helpful!!! I have a question that you can probably answer! Many posh closets have things like “any 5 for $25” or “free shipping if you spend $___ “.
How can they do that? I know you can create a bundle and offer a price. How could you do the free shipping?
Apr 17Reply

staga
@jhps_closet Hi! Welcome to Poshmark!
When a buyer bundles the item they can make an offer, in the offer option you will have an option to give a price and in shipping discount they select 7.49 so that gives the buyer free shipping. Hope that helps, it’s all in the bundle offer.
Apr 17Reply

jhps_closet
@staga thank you!! I’ve only had 1 sale and it wasn’t a bundle!

@staga Thank you for sharing! Love this but one question. If I see an item someone has that I own and love (that I'm not selling) I will leave a comment stating such because I think someone else should know how awesome it is and scoop it up! Should I not being doing this? I'm certainly not trying to self promote as an "advertiser"😂 Your closet is gorgeous!🐚🌺
Apr 25Reply

staga
@frankiemom Thank you! I think you’re fine as long as the seller and buyer know you’re not selling it. Like including, “I have no interest in selling it because I like it so much.” Or something similar.
Each person is different, sometimes the sellers let you know if they don’t want you to do it. As far as I am concerned I really don’t mind. ☺️💕

Apr 29Reply

staga

Apr 29Reply

summer_shops
hi! i actually just made my first sale on poshmark the other day, and i was wondering, if the buyer doesnt confirm that they received the item, is there anyway for me to redeem my money? <3 ty :D
Apr 29Reply

staga
@summer_shops Hi! Congratulations! 🍾🎊 I still remember my first sale. It’s a fun accomplished feeling!
Once the item delivers, the buyer has three days to accept the purchase or open a case stating that the description/ Pictures/authenticity isn’t mismatching. If the buyer never raises a question nor accepts the purchase you receive your funds after three days of the order being delivered. If the buyer accepts you receive it immediately. ☺️💕 Hope that helps!

@staga I 🥰 this. sooo accurate on so many points. love that you created this post.woot. one thing id add is claims for sellers or when customers return. they happen even when seller has thebvery best of intentions.sometimes buyer is extra picky.or seller didnt notice something, or person changed their mind.
May 02Reply

lasassychica
@staga cont.' even when the seller puts everything accurately gives all details, flaws missing items etc sometimes people don't read. but to the seller and the buyer it can be scary and frustrating the first time it happens. but its not the end of the world.& no matter thr outcome i think its worth stating it happens alot all day in posh. and doesnt mean your a bad seller or you did anything wrong.and you simply learn for the next time
May 02Reply

lasassychica
@staga cont.' as i believe most people on here have good intentions.while there are the few 😈 devils who try to ruin it dont let them get cha down. cheers @lasassychica

@staga thank you for your purchase of my 14k gold S chain necklace. I will get it in the mail tomorrow. 🤗😘
May 20Reply

staga
@cwaters9961 Hi! Is it solid gold? I am about to purchase the other one too.
May 20Reply

cwaters9961
@staga all I know is that my father purchased them and he is sure they 14k gold so that means: p ure gold (24k) is too soft and malleable to wear in jewelry, so the gold must be alloyed with other metals to give it strength and durability. 14k solid gold means 14 parts gold (58.3%) and 10 parts alloys (41.7%). So yes and no. As you can see in the explanation it is called 14k solid gold.
May 20Reply

cwaters9961
It is not inscription as 14k gold.
May 20Reply

cwaters9961
Inscribed
May 20Reply

staga
@cwaters9961 Thank you, when I meant solid gold, I meant was it 14k and not 14k plated. I have some purchases where I’ve purchased and the items where actually 14k plated and not actual 14k. Thank you for your kindly description.
May 20Reply

staga
@cwaters9961 As you see I’ve paid shipping twice. Can you create a new listing with the two necklaces and mark it as reserved don’t buy for 156 so I can buy it again and then I’ll cancel these two separate purchases so I don’t have to pay shipping twice.
Do you have any more 14k that you plan to list? I’ll be glad to buy.
May 20Reply

cwaters9961
@staga I am not 100% sure about that. I do know it hasn’t shown any signs of turning and never turned my mother’s neck, black. I am sorry I don’t know for sure.
May 20Reply

staga
@cwaters9961 oh! Without the inscription it’s tough to judge, unfortunately.
May 20Reply

staga
@cwaters9961 Thank you for your honesty. I just cancelled the sale. Sorry about the disappointment.
May 20Reply

cwaters9961
@staga yes, I think I can do that. Give me a few minutes to get it together. I do have a third one right now I was planning to list. It is extra thick and longer than the other two. I started to bundle, but I was afraid they wouldn’t sell for the price I would ask. I could add it if you are interested with the other two for a new price?
May 20Reply

staga
@cwaters9961 Unless they are stamped / inscribed they are not worth that price unfortunately. If you have something stamped 14k please let me know. I don’t buy anything but stamped real gold.
May 20Reply

cwaters9961
@staga you said you would buy them for $156. Now I have put them all together for nothing. I wasn’t trying to be deceitful. I honestly do not know. I am going to see if a jeweler can tell me.
May 20Reply

staga
@cwaters9961 Hi! I don’t question your honesty. I purchased them at full price assuming they were 14k as the title said but you mentioned they weren’t stamped which changes the whole thing. If a jeweler confirms that they are indeed 14k gold, please let me know and I’ll still buy for 156. Sorry if it was a disappointment.
14k plated is worth way less, that’s why the whole thing changes.
May 20Reply

cwaters9961
@staga thank you for commenting back. After I said that, I saw that you told me that before I created the new bundle. I am fairly new since October, I think, and I haven’t dealt much in jewelry, yet. Thanks for your help.

@judywhite90 Hi Judy!
1. A buyer can buy your item at full price or can make an offer. 2. Once your item sells, you will receive an email with the shipping label.
3. The email will be the one you used to register on Poshmark.
4. The buyer’s money will be deducted from the buyers account and held by Poshmark.
5. Once you ship the item and the buyer receives the item the buyer has three days to check that the item is as stated and authentic.
Jun 07Reply

staga
@judywhite90
Hi Judy! (Contd...)
6. The buyer will confirm and the money gets credited to your Poshmark account.
7. From there you can transfer it to your bank which typically can range between 1-5 days depending on the bank.
If you have any questions your welcome to ask.

@fashionwings410 Hi! I noticed that you were being bullied about selling the bangle bracelet. It is absolutely ok for a seller to change their mind especially if you’ve underpriced your item. No it is not true that a seller can’t cancel a sale. You can do whatever gives you the best price for your item.
Sep 18Reply

staga
@fashionwings410
It’s just about a little etiquettes.
1. Do a little research before you post an item. If it’s solid gold weight of gold in grams x price per gram + 20% site selling fee + (profit) if you’d like is a good way to price.
2. When you cancel and relist, asking the first buyer if they’d pay the higher price is a good thing to do.
3. If you feel harassed you can always block them.
Sep 18Reply

@jennymurnane You’re comments / discussions with the other person sound like someone tricked you into buying and isn’t very fair. I was the one who purchased it at your listed price and asked you if you had it listed for someone else and that you were welcomed to cancel the sale. I am not upset with you cancelling, obviously you need the best price for your item.
Oct 26Reply

staga
@jennymurnane
If you had cancelled immediately I wouldn’t have to wait for 7 days now for the funds to be back in my account. You don’t have to block me, I have my etiquettes.

@kwadham Hi! Thank you for valuing my privacy. People cut out the credits from the picture when they reuse, which is why I am not ok with it. But You’re welcome use it if you will keep the picture credits.

@staga oh of course I will leave credits and I will even direct all to your fabulous closet. Also will mention how pleasant it has been to purchase from you. You have been the nicest Posher I have ever bought from. Thank you so much.

Hi 👋🏻 👋🏻I just wanted to pop by and thank you for following me on my closet clean out journey 👚👖👔👙👗👠🥾👢🩳!!! Feel free to swing on by my closet and see if there is anything that interests you 👀👀👀
If you like more than 2 items, you get an automatic discount, but I’m more than happy to consider offers 💯 Right now, I’m all about cleaning out my Family’s closets, so this is mutually beneficial 💃🏼💃🏼💃🏼 HAPPY POSHING💕💕💕

This is terrific! So much to know and starting out, it seems like there is much that PM doesn’t really lay out. Reading the posh “dos and dont’s” always left me with more questions! Have figured out a lot on my own, and b it is a great platform!
Thanks for verifying some of things I’ve learned, and for filling in the things I haven’t! ❤️

This is great. Thanks. I still don’t understand why no love note- especially when everything I send (no matter how small) has a beautiful hand written card and some type of “extra” - even a small thing. At the end of the day though, you’re right, it’s all about integrity. For the most part I think PM is great - except the 20%!!
Take care❤️

@janettoli ugh same. Maybe a nice thanks in the love or just a small note always means a ton, so I can show off in my Posh Love listing I made for my closet
Nov 30Reply

jenmiller682
Such a good read! Thank you for sharing all your knowledge!!💛💛
Nov 30Reply

staga
@hawkimik92 Likes for Sold items:
1. Typically when a buyer wants to save your closet, they will like a sold item, that way they don’t receive offers or price drop notifications.
2. They might have liked what you sold so they save it so they can look for something similar.
Nov 30Reply

hawkimik92
@staga oh! that makes total sense now!! Thank you!!
Nov 30Reply

janettoli
@hawkimik92 I’m guilty of liking sold items;) And yes, I do so to save a closet and not trouble the seller to have to make an offer on something I’m not prepared to buy yet. So I think it’s actually a good thing:)
One thing I’m wondering though: if I want to notify buyers of something (sale for example) where do I find photos to list? As in, “20% of 2+ items” or something like that? Should I Google it? Thanks ❤️
Nov 30Reply

staga
@janettoli Yes, generally people take it off of google. But I like to keep mine authentic so I use Typorama app to create my own sale listing images. Simple and easy to use.
Nov 30Reply

janettoli
@staga hi thanks for the info:) I think I’ll stick with Google lol. I’m an RN by day so I’ve got to keep it simple! 😘
Nov 30Reply

hawkimik92
@janettoli yeah! that also makes sense! I noticed after something is sold, Poshmark will show other listings of that item or similar items which is really cool

Dec 18Reply

staga
@exquisitelyelon :) I don’t send offers on bundles for two reasons.
1. My offer would be 10-15% off a bundle is not enticing to buyers. 😂 So they rarely accept offers made. This also makes them believe that I wouldn’t accept anything else and don’t even counter.
2. I consider Listing price as my price and if someone takes the time to bundle then I do believe they will have the time to send me an offer or at least ask me to send them an offer.
I hope I was of some help.
Dec 22Reply

staga
@exquisitelyelon You can let them know once that you are open to counters once you submit an offer, under the bundle. I do believe that lets them know that you are flexible.

GREAT ALL AROUND ADVICE, AND HILARIOUS! WILL U PLEZ B MY PERSONAL POSH MENTOR, PLEZ? 😂
I DO HAVE A QUESTION. I OFTEN COMMENT ON A VERY BEAUTIFUL PIECE OF JEWELRY OR ANYTHING UNIQUE AND INTERESTING. I DIDN'T KNO THAT THIS IS A NO NO AND MAKES U AN "ADVERTISER/DEPERATO". 2 B TOTALLY HONEST I DIDN'T KNO THIS WAS A TATIC USED 2 LURE PPL 2 UR OWN CLOSET(& I KINDA DIDN'T C HOW) I ALWAYS WAS TRULY COMPLEMENTING. SO THIS IS SOMETHING I SHOULD NO LONGER DO?

Jan 21Reply

staga
@bubsch4 Hi! I am so glad it clarified, it really depends, if you think 10 are worth appreciating in someone’s closet appreciate 1, if 100 items are nice then appreciate 10 over the course of the week, it really depends on the timing and intention. Hope that’s helpful! Anytime just ask away, will respond as soon as I can get to it! 💕
Jan 21Reply

oh u were incredibly helpful! I'm gonna reconfigure my whole approach cuz I'm not really selling anything! I started in Aug. had an immediate sale so I thought wow u really get stuff sold on here. Hoping you have a moment for a quick question? Why do people have closets full of “not for sale”?!? I suppose I should confess I am a much better shopper on PoshMark than a seller 🤣 I thoroughly enjoy going through closets and often find things too wonderful to pass up... but as I am following and sharing I have seen many closets with this phenomenon and am wondering... Thanks in advance! Have a lovely day!
Feb 01Reply

staga
@lspannuth Hi! Absolutely, it’s for two reasons.
1. To lure people to other sites they are selling in making the buyer realize that the seller sells elsewhere.
2. To let buyers know that items will sell quickly. For example, consider me as such a seller: I have a buyer interested in 3 items, they don’t make offers, don’t respond to offers but wait for it to go 1/2 off. (Contd...)
Feb 01Reply

staga
@lspannuth So when it sells elsewhere, I mark it as sold, this way the buyer understands that I am pretty firm on my offers and that what I sell is in demand. A subtle way of making buyers understand.
Hope I make sense.
Feb 01Reply

lspannuth
@staga Ahhh - got it! And the items actually ARE for sale 😊 Serious inquiry re: pearl necklace
Feb 01Reply

staga
@lspannuth They we’re for sale and may have been sold. So you could ask the seller if they are still for sale, they will let you know if it is. 🙂
Feb 01Reply

lspannuth
@staga Thank you very much for your time! Please let me know about the Pearl necklace when you get a moment that I commented on earlier. I can’t determine the color of pearls from pictures - thanks again! 🥰
Feb 01Reply

staga
@lspannuth I already did, under that listing itself. It’s called the peacock colors, it has the bluish, grey, purplish black shade, shines as such.
Feb 01Reply

@staga Awesome - Thanks! It didn’t show up on my end - I’ll go look now 😊

@bubsch4 Hi! I am glad you’re making sales. You go girl!
When you click on share from your closet, the first on the page would be
Your followers
Current party (if any)
A search button and couple of people you have interacted with.
SMS
Facebook
Email
As such.
If the closet you want to share is displayed click on it otherwise click on search and share the same.
Feb 28Reply

staga
@bubsch4 But please note Christy this option is only available when you share your items, you cannot share other people’s items to others closet. Let me know if you have any more trouble.
Feb 28Reply

I enjoyed reading this post. I am new here, this is my 4th month on Poshmark and I try to learn as much as possible. I keep hearing that sharing other closets is not as important as sharing your own. I still don't know what to think about it and how to understand it. Thanks
Mar 05Reply

staga
@rs6868 Hi! I’ve experimented with sharing just my closet for 30 days and sharing just others closet for 30 days, the best result I’ve had is when I’ve shared my closet thrice a day and all the four parties. So I believe it’s both that helps. Just my two cents.
Mar 05Reply

rs6868
@staga I agree with you that sharing to parties is essential. I also share HP. Always gain followers and shares from those. I am trying not to get frustrated over lots of likes and bundles and me making offers that lead to nothing.
Mar 05Reply

staga
@rs6868 Sometimes it does get frustrating, let it go. Keep adding new items, it helps possibly due to the algorithm, 10% of the bundles actually complete as sales, so don’t let it deter you. Follow new people that really helps in bringing new views and sales to your account.
Mar 05Reply

rs6868
@staga I really appreciate your replies. I do follow new closets but I didn't think of it from your perspective. Thanks so much for taking time to write. I hope you have a great weekend. Ren

Hi beautiful......me again....lol! with a question, of course. How do I change my background pic or name to include "POSH AMBASSADOR"? the larger background photo on my closet page says Christy H.
How do I change that to say Christy H. Posh Ambassador? or just skip the H. all 2gethr and have it now say just
Christy Posh Ambassador? whichever one. if u have time 2 get back 2 me I'd greatly appreciate it!

Mar 18Reply

staga
@widsmuzz Hi! Hope you’re doing well. You can group your item bu sharing to followers.
For example: You have listings A, B, C, D, E
If you want A, B, C, D, E to be the order they should be from top down in your closet then you have to share: E,D,C,B,A. That is, the item last shared to followers will appear on the top of your close. This is applicable only to your own closet.
Hope this helps! 💕

I’m spending a lot of time building my business I share join parties do everything right. I’m hoping t sell some of the higher price items like the coach bags etc. Can you give me some advice. 🙏?
Mar 25Reply

staga
@rescuelady3 Hi! I share 1000 listings from each party to my followers. When we do so, people (40-50%) return the shares and / or follow my closet / boutique. Thereby creating more visibility and more sales. Hope that helps. 💕

really enjoyed reading this. I do hope that when I comment on an item it isnt mistaken as self-promotional; Being an ancient mariner, I see cultural things about clothing that Im thinking younger women may not know; influences and such. I coment on items for my followers then share the item hoping to strike a chord and inspire a sale, a second look.

Hello! I’m pretty new here. Trying to get a grasp on how it works and retrying to exercise a lot of patience. I’ve sold a couple of things but a couple of early sales got my expectations too high. 😂. Thanks for this info. I appreciate it!

@staga 😆😂🤣😂😆 Oh Dear… Yes, “The Minimalist Seller”! I’ve had too many of those…. One seller actually folded a structured bag into quarters. Not one fold, as that would be bad enough, but one fold on another fold… on a bag that was structured! 😲 I guess that was the only box size they had 🤷🏻♀️. 🙃

Hello there lovely, I'm back again w/ me and my questions lol! So I'm making my 1st multiple color listening. I have 6 NWT awesome converse looking baby shoes in 6 dif colors. I have all the great photos & descriptions done. problem is I see when other poshers do this ther will b a list of the colors that can some how b put in & when u select that item it tells which r available & the others r crossed out......cont...
Oct 16Reply

bubsch4
..i can't find how 2 do this at all. I've put ther r multiple & it goes nowhere from ther except the # of the items I have. I've looked all over PM help but that's like trying 2 find a needle in a haystack! I can never find the answer 2 what I'm looking 4. So many ppl have this option w sizes &/or colors so it can't b that hard, I've just exhausted all ideas. So If u would b willing w loan ur expertise when u have the time, I'd so greatly appreciate it!

@bubsch4 Hi Christy, hope all’s well. When you choose multiple you would have noticed that the top says OS (One Size) and if you select that it will take you to the number of items. But if you choose Custom Size that’s in the bottom, it will take you to a text box.
Oct 16Reply

staga
@bubsch4 In that box add (Blue Size 5) or whatever you want then when you click submit it will take you to number of items, once you enter that, it will add that to your listing and come back to the Custom Size page, there again go and add another color (Green - Size 5) and so on. Let me know if it doesn’t work.
Oct 16Reply

bubsch4
it never came up with a OS custom. that option wasn't there. but I did find another way to do it. i think it may be cuz they r baby sizes....idk.
Thank you! Thank you! soooooo much for ur time and input. now I'll know what 2 do when i have adult items😁
i so much appreciate u and ur help! have a fabulous wkend, beautiful!!!!

Thank you so much for providing this knowledge and insight to those of us who need extra education on Poshmark. I’ve decided to open my closet as I’m now a Widow Suddenly😔. I’m trying to earn some extra money to sustain my life now. I really appreciate all the wonderful people who have helped me so far and I hope to constantly and continually share everyone’s wonderful listings which is what I’ve been doing God bless all of you and happy Thanksgiving to each and everyone of you. ❤️

Don’t know if it’s been said already, but I stopped leaving love notes. I’d like to, but there’s a huge drawback: your purchases become public. Next to your love note is a photo of the item. If someone visits your closet and looks at love notes given, there’s the history of your purchases. For most it’s probably not a big deal. But I tend to buy expensive items (not an invitation to start styling me, folks). If I could leave a love note without a photo of the item, I’d love to (pun intended).
Nov 25Reply

staga
@yummyvintage True, posh needs to fix that. That’s so unnecessary!

Love this! You offer GREAT Advice! Thank you so much! I've only been doing this for a few months but I invest my entire day and night sharing my closet and others as well. I try to participate in EVERY Party which is exhausting! Did pretty good but I feel like my sales have slumped and it's making me feel depressed! I like how you keep it in perspective and light hearted!

Have fun hosting this vintage party! I'm releasing things from my costume design vintage collection. A question: What happens when you want to Share an item that is Liked, and a message comes up that I can't share it because it's already in their Bundle? But it doesn't show up in my Bundles section. Is there nothing I can/should do at that point? Thanks for offering help! Linda
Dec 13Reply

staga
@happyestate I am assuming that you want to share an item from your closet that a potential buyer had liked to the buyer’s bundle so you can make an offer? If the buyer had already bundled (look in the sell view and not buy view) then you won’t be able to add it add it again. You’re possible looking in the buyer’s bundle from the buyer’s account in which case your viewing the wrong bundle.
