prettydeville @hcollins1979 true vintage! It has a metal zip and a brand that no longer exists lol. I actually have a little bit of provenance on this one — I purchased it from an estate sale of a Hollywood widow (who had a ton of Debbie Reynolds memorabilia bc the couple lived in the same neighborhood). It was purchased along with a Carolyn Schurner dress and a no label dress that were both 1950s. I’ll tag you in those listings so you can see the dress’s “sisters” 😁😁😁

hcollins1979 I made a mistake! When I asked my husband if I could pay for this "next month," I thought that meant at the beginning, when he gets paid. He thought "next month" meant the end of the month. So I can't pay for it until the end of September. As such, I hope you put the dress back on the market in case someone else sees it and buys it during this time. If it's still available, I will pounce on it, but I don't want you to lose out on a potential sale in the mean time. I apologise deeply. Mea culpa!!

prettydeville @hcollins1979 totally room for both in a closet lol! I had the lavender sparkly Monica and loved it, but then babies ruined my ability to stand shapewear haha. This one doesn’t have the bodycon silhouette that the Monica has. It’s more of a tailored sheath silhouette.

hcollins1979 Too bad about the shapewear! I have had two abdominal surgeries in the last 12 months; I wonder if I'll have the same problem? Is it true that you have to just kind of wiggle into the Monica without unzipping it? I have read so many tales of women finding it nigh impossible to get into it! I love the silhouette of the dress you have; it's so classic and modern, yet still feminine. Just perfect. :) I have a few real vintage pieces and I love how well they are constructed!
