mysonwithautism 20 percent is high and I don't think there should be a discount given to buyers the seller is offering a discount on the item but poshmark is getting your fee no matter how much your item sells for there are a few items i have for 5 if I give a discount plus shipping discount I am in the red but poshmark still gets there fees. this isn't right to sellers.

tappytee @mysonwithautism @chrissyduvall Hi Ladies....I’d like to ask you both a question. Do you do price drops? It just seems you don’t make anything when you consider 10% off, plus $2.11 off for shipping and then what PM gets. And take into consideration the time it takes to photograph, list & pack...and the $ for tissue paper, jewelry boxes (in my case), tape etc.....Appreciate your point of view, TY. Terry

chrissyduvall @tappytee hey! I don’t do price drops on my cheaper items but I have a lot of higher end that if it sits for awhile I will offer private discount or do a slight price drop. Or if I’m really desperate to get rid of items- I started listing on another platform also because they only take 10% 🤷🏼‍♀️

sidekick77erin thank you for sharing this because I post things at the bare minimum. I was just thinking I might have to start posting things a little higher just to make 5 or 7$ on most items. For now, I am just doing my best with what I have posted. I try to keep in mind the cost of shipping and get things out within 1 day, unless it's Sunday of course. Thank you for posting this!

cricket6187 I know how you feel. I am actually loosing money on here. I give great discounts but with the shipping and Poshes cuts, There are alot of times I go way below what I pay..Esp on Color Street. I'm dont think im gonna sell that anymore on here. But on a positive note, I do like downsizing. .
