viturtle @niic28 hi there! It’s not faded, it’s two shades of black that runs through the bag. I honestly did not notice it until now that you pointed it out and had to examine the bag closely.

viturtle @emptyclosets2 it does have a light padding in the back, if I were to guess, I’d say it’s 1/8 inch thick

emptyclosets2 @viturtle I can see the pleated portion, but I am referring to a large rectangle area that goes across the front that is a different shade of black from the rest of the front portion of the bag. I’m trying to understand if this is some kind of fading or if this is a different material applied to the bag. It’s very visible in your first photo

viturtle @emptyclosets2 my apologies, I thought you were referring to the pleat. Yes it’s two shades of black. It’s like a stripe pattern in front. I didn’t notice it until someone asked a question about it as well. It’s not faded.

karenleeza Can you let me know if there is any wear on the straps? Particularly at the very top. I’m looking to replace mine and the zipper for the water compartment had worn the fabric straps on the underside.
