We had to unexpectedly put my sweet baby girl to sleep yesterday. She was a rare spirit, my comfort, my joy and my heart. Riv always knew when my Lupus was bad. She'd curl up beside me as close as she could. The day's spent stuck in the house, she made it not feel empty. She filled so many voids in my life & my soul. God, I miss her. River says "Know what makes me smile? When someone buys somethin' from my mommy. She gets very happy n' smiles too. That's as good as a roll in the grass." Domi says "I live the of life of luxury. I am after all a fabulous feline. I deserve nothing other than the finest things in life. Mummy & daddy simply must make sure I have the best catnip and soft places to sleep. Our shelters & "pound" are overwhelmed w/ bulls, I wish I could bring them all home. Around here, black coats are hard to place/adopt. Bless you adopting 2 bulls. I'd love to see pics!!!

coachandtrunk @emilyvecere I'm with you, I HATE those!! 🤬Especially when I see someone who has the prong collar going in the wrong direction. I'm always taking her collars off when she's inside, drives my husband nuts. It just looks uncomfortable, even though its padded. Kinda like if you had to wear a necktie all day.

arnoldsmom I just adopted Arnold, a 50 pound pittie. He was a former bait dog. They even filed his teeth down so he couldn’t try to protect himself.🥺. Arnold is adjusting slowly to a life of luxury and after a month I finally got my first puppy kiss. I am madly in love with my baby (scars all over his body and face😥and hope the people who tortured him get what they deserve!! Your pup is beautiful!

They didn't file her teeth down but they definitely scarred mentally and physically when we rescued her. She's been our baby for over 9 years now and is the sweetest pup I've ever had. I agree 100% with the beings (I refuse to call them people/human) who tortured your baby, mine and all the other pups out there get what they deserve & then some.

We say we are the lucky ones ❤️🤗 rescues are just so happy when you take them in ❤️

itsies Hi thank you for getting back to me on your sweet girl. I’ve had Rusty for 4 yrs now. He also was a rescue. He still had trust issues. I found a trainer who is trained certified and works with abused dogs. We take one day at a time with Rushy Roo. I can’t imagine not having him. Any way sorry I could go on and on. We are learning so much these days how to communicate with animals, hopefully one day the stigma of a bad animal can be erased. How old is River? Brody is 3 now, Getti has slowed a lot at 13, can’t let myself think abt that yet!

She's 9 yrs old, starting to get white on her face and slowing down too. The pic is from a few years ago. She still runs around like a puppy but she's sore later. She's taking Rimadyl for aches. Like you, I don't want to think about her not being with us.💜

itsies @coachandtrunk Yes Rusty and I are great. He took a break though for Christmas and New Years. He spent some days at the doggy hotel. I don’t think he liked it there though. He came home acting kind of funny. The next day he was back to himself again. I told my husband I think he thought I wasn’t coming back for him. How was your babies and your families holidays? mysunnstars does she weigh 76 pounds ? thats how much mine weighs but she is short half pit/mastiff and the black one is half amstaff/lab he much taller . my girl is short and stocky. absolutely adorable they are sweethearts. I have pure pitts my whole life but after my last one passed away a few years I never was going to get another but had too rescue them she was chained to a pole in middle of no where. the black one was only one to make from the litter of a malnourished mother found wondering.

coachandtrunk She is about 76lbs and thinks she's a lap dog. You are so right about them knowing when you don't feel well. She was rescued from a really bad situation, bait dog. She is so forgiving. Our 14lb-ish cat bosses her around, he even eats her food and she let him. Crazy cat. I love them both, but she is my girl.

I have been blessed with 2 iin my lifetime, currently my rescue was used as a bait dog, horrible what people do to these dogs, but after 4 years of living the good life he's kinda normal. love your kitty too I have 2 and 2 never a dull moment here lol but they are worth it. love your closet you do such a beautiful job❤
