djstrendyfinds i wish posh lower their fees. we are only trying to make extra . especially now. I go to stores for brand new listings too, not just thrifts and I wna make atleast 8 to 10 bucks out of it. and people low ball you, then posh take 20% of that offer. 😞

My prices on my jeans, I make between $10-$15 dollars a pair after I offer my discount and discounted shipping and then some people still want me to come down more and I make even less. Poshmark makes wayyy tooo much off of us but what else we gonna do?! I do seriously believe Poshmark should have taken the hit on the shipping prices that just went up. That seriously made me mad. I had to up my prices to adjust. I don't really know how people

I called her out and blocked her after she upped her crappy offer by a whole dollar, which was still less than 50% of my counter-offer. I told her I hope she gets a ton of offers just like hers lol! I wanted to straight up decline but I did submit a counter, of course I did not get a response. Do buyers really think sellers are so stupid we are going to discount 70%. I had a NWT True Religion pair of jeans about 5 years back. $299 price tag on them. I started higher, but eventually I lowered to $75. Staring FINAL PRICE FIRM. A lady offered me $10. Back and forth. She worked up to $16😂 I told her that I would rather douse them with gas and torch them (one and only time I was rude) it felt good though

dazzrina @hazy_sunset thank you!! It seems like the culture in PM is to expect 1/2 off the asking price with free shipping. It really is disheartening as we put so much time and effort in listing and sending offers to be ignored or be sent a 1/2 off offer which is a total loss for sellers. Don’t know how sellers can sell things on here for $5 or $10, I want the secret PM discount. 🤣

I have boots that I haven't even worn yet. Shoes everywhere! lol So I figured if you don't sell them and decide to come down I'd purchase them. For me it's just not practical to purchase them not even for what I offered but I figured that I might not feel so guilty if you accepted my offer at that price. :) Have a great weekend. :)

spmbmt @hazy_sunset posh is getting a 20% commission on gross sales. That’s extremely high. This is a decent site for people wanting to unload things they have already worn and just want out of their closet etc but it’s not good if you are trying to make money. I rarely make much at all (factoring in cost) on things I bought to specifically sell on here. Especially if you include the time it takes to find the deals, take the pics, edit the backgrounds, post the list, and store it.
