This one-of-a-kind hand painted jacket is a pastel goth’s dream or statement piece for anyone. Inspired by a 17th century headstone in Salem, MA, the bat winged hourglass represents the evanescent nature of time. Momento Mori are intended to remind us of that fleeting nature, and to inspire us to seize the day. The pastel color scheme and tiny skull add a playful touch cuz this little goth can’t resist fun stuff.

This one! Out of curiosity, are you a Disney fan? ✨🏰 I asked because the gift shop outside of Haunted Mansion is called Momento Mori, and that's how you caught my attention! Haunted Mansion is my favorite ride!🏚😍 Otherwise, this jacket is gorgeous! Well done!💗

@kmann121 I do love Disney, but I didn’t know they’d named their shop that! That’s awesome! I kinda just have an obsession with gravestone iconography and with the concept of momento mori in general. I love the message as much as the macabre imagery. 💜💀💜

@faeriebubbles Yes! It is an inevitable truth!⏳ Reminding us that, Carpe Diem, is ever so important! (Who ever thought I'd be conversing Latin on Posh. 🤔😁) But yes it's the gift shop right outside the ride! Oh Disney and their subliminal messages!! 😂 The colors on this jacket are perfection! It reminds me of the classic Haunted Mansion wallpaper!! Just in case I misread anything, you are the artist for this jacket, correct? And is it machine washable?

@kmann121 It was collaborative. I (Bubbles) designed and painted the winged hourglass and my fella (Beano) did the lettering. He’s as obsessed with lettering as I am with color theory. It is sealed, so machine washing is fine, though I recommend a cold setting and air drying.

@faeriebubbles That's so awesome! And so cute that you guys worked on it together!💞 I'm def going to be keeping my 👀 on it! I have a tentative Disney trip planned for later in the summer. Not set in "gravestone" yet, but I can def see myself pairing this with a bright pink polka dot minnie dress. And just let the irony sparkle all over. 😁

@faeriebubbles And then I realized wearing this outside of Disney will be sure to keep people "socially distant" or at least those who understand the meaning without the Disney correlation. 🤷 Oh and btw, I lived in Salem, MA a while back! I lived right down the street from the House of Seven Gables!!

@kmann121 That’s amazing! I grew up on Mall St, in Salem, and the house across the street was where Nathaniel Hawthorne had lived when he wrote The Scarlet Letter! His study window was directly opposite our bedroom window, and I’ve always loved imagining him gazing at it as he wrote.
