fashion_scrilla@c_green82 Versace jewelry is not solid gold dear they do use high quality metals as a base and they cover their jewelry sometimes in gold. This one is covered in 24k gold which is why it must be kept out of moisture and stored properly to keep the gold looking its best.

It is a coveted piece from Versace since it was also in magazine editorials. It’s a beautiful piece, I only rarely wore it. I don’t mind hanging onto it, I’m in no rush to sell. I am considering offers as I do on all of my items listed here on posh. The highest bidder will get to take this lovely piece from my collection.

Please keep in mind that this piece was worn in an editorials for Versace, it has also been worn by Bella hadid and lady Gaga. This gem is near vintage aged. Since it’s costume jewelry it doesn’t have markings. When I wear it in to see my jeweler, they always ask me if it’s real gold 😆 I have a 24k solid gold chain and it matches my chain color.

fashion_scrilla@butterflykissiz If you do your research or you will find facts and information regarding Versace using real gold to plate their top quality metal material on costume jewelry which adds to its weighted feel and luxury. I have quite a few Versace chains since Versace is one of my favorite brands and Gianni Versace was my favorite designer ever! This chain is extremely heavy in weight and is very gaudy you will feel like Run DMC wearing it. It is a very big statement piece.

They also have a “resel price” the original price was $1300 before tax and being as it was extremely extremely difficult to get since it sold out, most collectors won’t even sell them.

fashion_scrilla@butterflykissiz Versace knew how popular these chains were and so they released the shiny polished version in about 2018-2019 but the matte gold one is the OG one and it is the most popular since it was actually worn on the Versace Runway and its coveted by most celebrities. Being as this piece is near vintage it’s value only increases and will continue to increase.

Unfortunately I would be willing to go a little lower on the price but cannot due to posh fees and C corp corporate taxes I pay for my reselling business 💔

It’s measures approximately 18” not including the clasp and it is indeed 24k gold plated. However, we are uncertain of how thick the plating is because we could not find any information on that aspect anywhere.
