1920’s vintage cheongsam

The cheongsam is a type of feminine body-hugging dress with distinctive Chinese features of Manchu origin. It was called mandarin gown during 1920s-1930s, popularised by Chinese socialites and upper-class women in Shanghai. This delicate dress can be worn but is more of a show piece. It was hand made In shanghai in the 1920’s. It has the cardboard collar and fabric clasps. Nude pink colour with black velvet floral pattern. Would fit a 2/4.
