can I ask what your modern jean size is?
mosh_park
@pdxmycloset Usually around an 8/10, I have a 29" waist and 40" hips!

@mosh_park thank you!

@annadecia Check these out! 💙

@mosh_park do they fit you like that? Or are you securing the waist somehow
mosh_park
@annadecia The front facing fit is accurate, for the back it looks like I might have been scrunched the waist a little for a better fit. These are wearable for me but a smidge too big as I need a 15" laying flat

@mosh_park ok they might be too small for me then. I feel as if I’m unaccustomed go vintage sizing. I’m a 29 at madewell but they have stretch. Vintage Levi’s I assumed would fit for a 15” laying flat but they’re still way too snug.

@annadecia Hey, for vintage cotton I only go by measurements, because sizes fluctuated so much over time. I generally measure off my current favorite pair of rigid denim and compare with those. If you don't have any 100% cotton jeans then I usually look for sizes that are .5"-1" more than my body measurement.

@annadecia Keep in mind the cotton will stretch and form to your body the more you wear, and they do need a decent breaking in period. Hope that helps, and let me know if you have any more questions!
