@kaseyjane0705 hi! It is a lightweight knit fabric. Not completely transparent but slightly sheer. I think the top doesn’t show through a lot. Depending on your comfort level you may want to use a slip or tights or leggings for the bottom - or nothing at all. Hope this helps.
