If I’m normally a 28 in Kancans would I want to go up for a loose fit or would a 28 be what I needed?

These are meant to sit lower on the hips, I'd measure with a tape measure closer to your hips for a looser fit. Please check against the measurement posting I put in the pictures section. Most KanCan jeans sit at your true waist which is smaller.

So not sure if I need a 26 or 27. I have a pair of these I bought a few years ago, in a 25. Now I'm not as thin either. Relaxed is looser, but more concerned about the waist. Do you personally find these loose fitting in you? So want a pair, hard to measure. Normally wear a 27, but no stretch either. Any personal advise?
