Measurement was taken across the back. The dress has structure and a little more material built in to the front for the bust so it is a bit roomier.

What is the waist measurement for the size 4 dress?

@marshcapone The seam between the top and bottom is above the natural waist and that is 15” measured flat (so 30” total). About 3 inches below that is probably the natural waist and that is 17” measured flat (so 34” total). Thank you.

@c32550 thanks for your reply. This is not an empire waist dress correct? So the seam that connects the top and the bottom is not really the natural waist then? Also just to verify, the armpit to armpit measurement is 16 inches taken laying flat. I appreciate your time. Angela

Also, could you please provide me one more measurment. What is the length from the armpit to the seam at the waist that connects the top and bottom portions of the dress? Then I can see how it compares to some of my dresses that I have with a similar design and know how high that waist line seam is. I really appreciate your time.

@marshcapone The picture shows that the seam is above the natural waist - see the one with the model and where she is resting her hand. I verified that the seam would be about 3” above my natural waist.

@marshcapone Yes, the armpit to armpit was measured flat. I measured this dress across the back because the front has structure at the bust. It would be a little roomier on the front.

Do you mind taking an armpit to armpit measurement from the front of the dress with it gently stretched To accommodate for the little bit of extra fabric and different for the bust.

I am interested, I am struggling with size, typically I am a US size 6. 34 28 35. I have a couple Draper dresses size 2. and they fit well. I think the size 4 will be okay
How much stretch is there for the chest?
