debbyjones717 I have many questions on 2 fronts, Since you do restorations. Can those guards or little brass bullet like feet, that protect leather bags from damage and scuffing... can they be purchased and or added to a bag before purchase from your closet? at an extra fee, of course.

debbyjones717 I mentioned that I want to paint coach purses, I would like to paint on them for my children and they can pass them to my grandchildren, coach bags seem to live forever if cared for properly. UNLIKE THIS OLD BAG (aka myself)!! I need to find the correct medium for painting on leather, locate, & dust off my old airbrush and last, decide on what memory to put on their bag, do my layout and go to it. I will be watching your closet for similar bags in my price range.

nschewe @busykittyfinds yes I get that. Many of these bags are getting up there in age and need their hardware replaced. If a bag had replacement hardware, but an excellent creed, wouldn’t you still consider it authentic?

busykittyfinds @nschewe I don’t think there is any reason to replace hardware in the first place. It is not hard to remove, restore, and replace if you know what you’re doing. The information to learn how to do this is out there, free and therefore replacement is not needed. Especially a washer. Just my opinion.

nschewe @busykittyfinds yes I agree about the washer. But they come as a set and I only want to replace the turning part. Replacing the inside spring mechanism is not cup of tea !:)
