dianesteinberg Our little dachshund fur baby is 14 1/2 years old - She's in good health but our previous dachshunds never lived this long - we carry her up and down the stairs (almost 9 lbs) but I don't know what we'll do when she passes - we usually have had 2 dogs but there was a major issue and we couldn't let the other dog kill her (had seen the vet and tried different meds) - she is very happy just being our princess - not sure what to do if/when she passes.
