tracycoffaro
tracycoffaro Do you have anything in all 14K yellow gold and not plated?
Sep 04Reply
missstephlee
missstephlee @tracycoffaro It ups the price a couple hundred dollars so I generally only do solid metals for the larger stone sizes as the price is already higher up for the gem itself.

missstephlee @palmeri99 Yes, you can take it to your jeweler to be sized down. It is on my to do list to make more of these in more sizes but it’ll be several weeks until I can get to it myself. I’ll try to make smaller ones of this in Nov.

missstephlee @palmeri99 I’m generally making more 2ct than 1.5ct as I make more going forward. If you want this in 1.5ct specifically I can do that in a 6, but if you prefer 2ct I can switch it to that. Same price (I got my gem cutting costs down a bit☺️).

abbys1386
abbys1386 can you size this down to a 5?
Nov 06Reply
missstephlee
missstephlee @abbys1386 Yes, I’m almost done with smaller some sizes. Another week or two depending on how much free time I can get to finish. I’m a little behind ☺️.

missstephlee @abbys1386 I have made a size 5 in this ring & it’s available for purchase now. These are the only sizes I’ll have until I make more after Xmas.

abbys1386
abbys1386 @missstephlee You are sure this will never ware to where the gold shows the silver?
Nov 24Reply
abbys1386
abbys1386 After Christmas when things slow down if I pay more would you make me the solid gold band I choose ? I think I would be much happier. I like your work and trust your color on stones so I would love to do this with you.

missstephlee
missstephlee @abbys1386 Gold is a harder metal that when it bumps into something it chips off a piece of metal even if slight. A softer metal such as Rhodium (which is one of the platinums) just slides over instead of chipping off.
Nov 24Reply
missstephlee
missstephlee @abbys1386 Yes, I can do solid gold as well ☺️.
Nov 24Reply
missstephlee
missstephlee @abbys1386 So no one can guarantee any gold not being knocked enough over years to have a possibility of the silver showing through. Even pure gold rings eventually thin & break from gold wearing away. My rhodium ones I would be able to say it won’t show as the metal is never “lost” & is instead just “moved” around & therefore keeps the silver covered.

kajalynae
kajalynae Is fit possible to make as a size 4?
Jan 10Reply
missstephlee
missstephlee @kajalynae I can make a size 4. It’ll be a month or two as I do any rings under $500 all at once in one batch to keep prices down and I just finished a batch🙈. I’ll add this to add and will tag you as soon as it’s done (prob March).

alisamarie83
alisamarie83 @missstephlee thank you! I have been looking at this ring for a minute. I am true six but can squeeze a 5.5. If there is anyway to slightly increase the size I would be grateful but get it.
Apr 04Reply
missstephlee
missstephlee @alisamarie83 I already mailed it earlier today🙈 I can’t adjust the size on the plated rings once finished bcz it would crack the Gold plating. If it truly doesn’t fit though & you want to exchange it for a bigger size, hit me up on Inst agram (my link is under “About Posher”) let me know & I’ll make some more size 6 and trade it out for you.

purplepink22770
purplepink22770 @missstephlee your message did say that a six prong does hide the stone from refraction,is it best to not have six prong?
Dec 07Reply
missstephlee
missstephlee @purplepink22770 It comes to personal preference. The amount of refraction lost isn’t big but it does cover more so my preference is 4 prong so I can see more of the gem but 6 prong is more secure so if you use your hands a lot or bump into a lot o f things with your hands one may still prefer 6.

neens_boutique
neens_boutique Do you have this ring in a size 6
Apr 05Reply
missstephlee
missstephlee @neens_boutique Not at the moment. I have a 5.75 which is .25 millimeters. It’s very close if your finger is on the smaller side of 6 rather than the larger size.
Apr 09Reply
missstephlee
missstephlee @neens_boutique meant to say: .25mm *less than a size 6
Apr 09Reply
missstephlee
missstephlee @neens_boutique @neens_boutique I just found a size 6. Gold band, rhodium prongs (so gem doesn’t reflect yellow from prongs). I added it in the available sizes so it’s ready to purchase.

neens_boutique
neens_boutique @missstephlee thank you so much
