mrsruby322 This is happening with Zimmermann too! There are several sellers with dozens/hundreds of RP/Zimmermann/FL&L pieces with the same stock photos, the items are hastily thrown on dress forms with packing wrinkles and sold for under $500/50-70% off retail. It's maddening and I've stopped buying these brands on these platforms. I confronted one seller and she spammed me for two days until I blocked her. It's ridiculous.

sunnykxg @rebekahdorothy lynnstudio19 also sourced a lot of her dresses from Taobao grey market (factory overstock) shops. A common practice among those shops is that they would slightly cut the main Reformation label with a small hole! Those dresses are going for $50-70 on Taobao / Aliexpess but she’s selling them for $200+! She also reported me for calling her out and is completely unethical!!! Buyers please be aware.

I, myself, have purchased fake / counterfeit items but I don’t list those items..I take them as a loss. Please have your facts straight before you call out sellers who are doing this as a side hobby.

esk7 Hi, I've been informed that you have been blacklisting me for being a seller of fake items. I did buy a fake realisation dress on poshmark, although I did not know it was fake since it was my first dress from them. I resold the item on poshmark, at which time I learned it was fake. Poshmark reimbursed both my buyer and myself for the entire unfortunate situation. I have learned my lesson there and now rigorously check the propriety of items that I would buy on poshmark before I reposh them

alinadujour hi thank you so much for this resource! ❤️ have you noticed if the authentic care tags always have “Made in China” written with a capitalized C for China instead of a lowercase C? a dress I bought from Real Par’s site has a capitalized C but it’s a newer style, and an older style I’m looking at buying from an online seller has a lowercase C.

I have another realisation par dress I'm fairly certain is authentic, but it's still hard to tell. the fit seems a little weird but that could just be the dress idk lol.

ohaiclaire The size tag look quite off - it’s a medium but the letter (M ) is quite small in comparison to the rp label next to it. Also the fabric feels really plasticy- i assumed it would be rougher and more textured like the other Christie dresses. But it’s super shiny and has a bit of texture. And it really doesn’t feel like silk. Is it supposed to be like that ? Do you think I just bought a fake ?

rebekahdorothy @pebium i would say no because sometimes these sellers are selling over productions of the originals and getting them from the same factory that they are made in. so it technically could be the same fabric, but not the authentic brand name.

refinecloset188 Can anyone help me out? I just got an order and it was in a plastic bag with realisation logo but it’s not ziplock style. Never seen non-ziplock style plastic bag when I buy stuff from realisation. Also the “don’t remove” red tag is attached on the left side but I thought it’s always attached on the right side.

Poshmark dealt with the initial seller accordingly and reimbursed me and my buyer. I have learned my lesson and have not allowed any fake items to enter my closet or to be sold since.
