@naomihamel hey! thanks for reaching out, neither pair is damaged. that stitching is just how the pants are made. I've attached a new photo of both NWT pairs I have :) let me know if you have any other questions!

@courtneyjpigeau hey girl! I found them to be slightly tighter than expected because of the woven material. I have on the fly pants that are more of a track pant material and they're a size 6, however with these ones the 8 fits me better. I would say they run slightly small but will still fit your true size just a little tight
