Many of you know I was born & raised in Maui. I spent 40 years of my life there & raised all of my children there. A few years ago I moved to Hilo to be with the love of my life. But my entire family remains in Maui & I visit several times a year. What has happened there, the devastation, has left me heartbroken. For so many reasons. 1st & foremost for the victims & the missing children. Of course when you grow up on a small island you have a real connection to the land. I had family in Lahaina & I lived out there with my kids for a year. It was a magical place. Some of my most special memories of my kids were in Lahaina. When we didn’t have much money we still had fun. I took them for walks on Front Street, where we would visit their favorite art galleries & then we’d finish the day swimming while the sun set. Ik there are many others that have experienced the magic of Lahaina. The town had a warm friendly vibe all its own. It was a truly special place. I’ve shared a few photos of my kids & I on our last time at Baby Beach Lahaina. Remember Lahaina. Victims of Hurricane Helene are our Family. The destruction incomparable. Our daughter in Georgia was without power & water for a week. It was IMPOSSIBLE to drive in any direction & get a generator. She waited in lines for hrs to be turned away. There is looting & robbing going wild in devastated areas. PRAY 4 our Ohana 🙏🏽 Nobody gets left behind or forgotten 💛 Love, Light & Aloha Always 🌺, Ambassador Tracey
