He's not in as much Constant severe pain as he was. I'm hoping he will be on the mend. His leg is getting stiff bc he doesn't want to bend and use it. So I'm having to push him to do that and to eat and drink. it's been a tough time. Thank you so much! 💓

piranhawench@lolas_boutique_ I understand that. I had ankle surgery & just sat for like a week or 2. I had a knee scooter but with a small house & lotsa stuff it was hard to get around. I wasn’t supposed to let my foot touch the ground. Tough time. Try standing up with one leg! And I’m waaaay outta shape! So no muscles that wanted to do that!

piranhawench@lolas_boutique_ I ate. The first 3 days I lived on coffee, Tostitos & not much else. Scrambled eggs some. And lots of water. I always drink lots of water. About the second week I wanted real food again. I wouldn’t suggest a diet if Tostitos…salt!!! Means water retention!

piranhawench@lolas_boutique_ So don’t worry. He’ll eat. Just nothing sounded good that first week. He does have to move his knee if the doctor said so. Otherwise the surgery will be for nothing. His knee will get so stiff & weak it won’t want to move. Stay after him on this one! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻💕💕💕🤗🤗🤗

I'm going to take him to a different doctor, even for his follow up I don't like this doctor at all. Wow you were not in a good way after your surgery, he's eating a little more now not much. I don't understand why he's still in soooo much pain. he apparently has a low pain tolerance, but works like a dog in the hot steel mill gets burnt is a real man never complains ever, but this has him in loads of pain, I guess it still needs time, it's starting to really worry me. I have been so stressed over it. will it EVER be better?! Glad you all are okay!

piranhawench@lolas_boutique_ You need to talk to the doctor about his pain. You should be able to do that on the phone (if you’re lucky). Maybe he needs too go in for a recheck, a little stronger pain meds. Just be sure he doesn’t get in the “hooked” mode!

piranhawench@lolas_boutique_ Could be like me only opposite… I whine, complain I& cry every day about my feet hurting (neuropathy), my back hurts, F**KING HOT FLASHES, etc. Little stuff in the grand scheme of life. But surgery? I’m up & moving, not hurting, not taking pain meds (unless I overdo it), doing pretty much what I need to do.

Going to the bathroom was painful trying to get up (with no safety bars) using the sink on one side & the wall in the other, to get up & down. I had such a tightened up my lower abdomen (the kind people work out hard to get) I thought I injured my insides! I FID whine & cry about that one!
