beezkneez2020 There are no indicators on the case showing that it is a protective case. However I bought two of them exactly the same, the other one I had on my phone. l had dropped my phone a few times with that case on it with no damage to my phone whatsoever. I did add an additional photo of the inside lip, so that you can see what the inside rim looks like. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
