I want to buy a couple of luxury handbags from poshmark but i am afraid i might get scammed if posh authentication is not that reliable. Getting scammed for 50 $ is another thng and getting scammed for 1000$ is another level . Your input is highly appreciated

dalton0210 I dont believe PM is the best source for authenticity. I received a bag that they claimed was authentic however Gucci stated it's a replica.

katesuzie @4ever_fashion89 i used to check all love notes before buying but now i came to know that sellers can choose yo accept or deny any lovenotes they want. thwy just can accept the positive ones and igmore the bad ones

cptl62 I have had luck with Poshmark, but I always do my homework. What you can do is get it authenticated by Proauthenticators or Legos in my Louis, once the items is in Your possession. If it is found to be a replica after Posh has Deemed it authentic, just send the info into Posh. Hope that helps!

cptl62 I think your biggest concern is weeding your way through the scammers! Only communicate and purchase on Posh, that way if anything goes wrong you are covered.

wenmon50 On the other hand, I’ve listed authentic items that Poshmark said they could not authenticate! Yet this site is flooded with hundreds of replicas from China on a daily basis!!

deniseajacko Under the “filters” I go to the “price” section and select over $500. It helps to weed out most of the BS sellers. I own more LVs than I care to admit but have only purchased one off Poshmark. I am very satisfied with it. I knew it would pass authentication process. I would purchase again off poshmark but only from a limited number of reputable sellers.

sagf @dalton0210 yes & I once posted an authentic Moncler snow jacket bought in Switzerland.they judged the item fake. it absolutely was not. I sold on another site with professional authenticators.It’s ridiculous how some people insist something is it not or is authentic from a mere picture. Not to mention they have no credentials. I would do my homework & verify every matter on every circumstance. There are obvious fakes that sell everyday & they have no problem. Go figure .

dyna89 If you’re not sure about authenticity of an item don’t buy it relying on Poshmark authenticity because they will f* you over I do not trust them at all. Ask seller for photos to show proof if they get offended or don’t respond or tell you posh will authenticate the item, do not buy it because it’s not authentic.

deniseajacko @jacichristoff I would look at the seller’s history such as what they’ve sold in the past. Also check how long they have been a member and the reviews and ratings from buyers. Take a look at their entire closet too. A person with authentic LVs generally won’t get offended with questions you send them.
