missstephlee@isaandfern The stone looks identical to a high grade clear diamond. Guaranteed no yellow/tinge. Yes, we can exchange it to the Rhodium if you don’t care for the gold. Yes, they can & are meant to be eventually replated. Plating realisticly lasts 6 mnths-1yr but I recently improved my e-coating (a sealant over it that gives the metal an extra layer of protection) so you get a little longer from it.

missstephlee@isaandfern Also, the Silver underneath the Rhodium doesn’t show the wear that much as both metals are a silver color. As the gold (or the rhodium on “white gold”) wears off the gold base underneath is yellow in color and contrasts showing the wear more distinctly.

missstephlee@tgarifi Bcz it’s got a gold plating over the silver it’s too difficult for me to size up that much after its made. A jeweler with a full shop can though.

missstephlee@tgarifi Going up 2 sizes is more than I can do without leaving marks on the band still. I’m fairly new & haven’t perfected it enough to feel comfortable with the marks on the end product to offer it. I may have a 6 prong ring that I can adjust up to a 9. I’ll go look to see if I still have it.

tgarifi@missstephlee ok. I knew the silver one said could size up in the posting but wasn’t sure how much. My diamond band is a 9 but it’s a little lose. I just don’t want it to be too tight either.

missstephlee@tgarifi I haven’t done more than a full size up. I know I have a 6 prong solitaire silver ring somewhere. I’ll find it and tag you when I get a pic. It’s an 8 but I can make it to a 9 (or slightly under if you like). Give me an hour or so to find it.

missstephlee@cay_posh 14k gold won’t tarnish. This is 14k gold over sterling silver (I can do. solid gold but it ups the price $400). The gold layer will eventually rub off & the silver underneath can tarnish if exposed. Most rings need to be replated every year or so if you’re wearing it a lot.

missstephlee@tinkab25 I can make one in solid 14k gold (or platinum). Silver isn’t strong enough by itself to hold a hard gem such as Moissanite or a diamond & will the prongs will become loose as the hand bumps around in normal daily wear. I do make a Silver with Rhodium platinum over it (same plating as “white” gold uses). As the Rhodoium plating wears thin you can’t tell as much as they are both silver colored metals. I’ll msg you also about replating yours if you like.
