Vintage gold plated wide large bracelet - Absolutely stunning. Circa 1940’s slinky honeycomb link bracelet. Hidden clasp with safety clasp Some wear on clasp on underside. Remember this is a 1940’s piece. It will not look new. It will have a soft gold patina and there will be a few small areas on the backside that have rubbed slightly..beautiful piece that is true vintage quality Measures-8 inches long 1.4 inches wide Bracelet is marked But I had it tested and is gold plated.

eleven11soul What metal is the gold plating over and does the bracelet slide on/off when fastened? Does it have a lot of overhang on the wrist?

pzq69854 @eleven11soul I am not sure what the metal is under the gold plating. In the last photograph I put what the markings mean. It’s a little confusing but it does explain it to you. It looks like there’s a lot of tarnish on it but there is not I just could not get Photos to make it look the way that it really does no matter how hard I tried. It does hang a bit down on the wrist. My wrist is a 7 or 7.5 but I can wear this bracelet easily and it looks great.

pzq69854 @eleven11soul Wish I could give you more information but it is such an old vintage piece that that’s all I can really tell you about it. eleven11soul @pzq69854 Ok thanks, I have one, except the trim design is along the sides. I believe it is gold plated stainless steel. It doesn't stay on my wrist. Was contemplating getting my newly wed teenager one. Want me to send you an offer of what I paid for my last one? You'll prob let it sit til it expires ha

pzq69854 @eleven11soul Please do. I do believe a lot of these were made back in the day. Some I’ve found to be expensive & some are not. I’d love to know what you offer even if I didn’t accept. Lol. I did have my jeweler look at it & I of course knew it wasn’t solid gold. Unfortunately. I certainly could use the large amount of money if it was solid gold. . So enjoyed chatting. 💞🌹💞🌹
