nutmegthrift @christinaoo This Jacket is wonderful for Snowy Conditions. It was actually a Hand-Me-Down from my Relative who lives in the Mountains of Colorado :) I am unsure if the Fabric is "Waterproof" (though I checked the North Face Website & nearly all of thier Similar Jackets are Labelled as "Waterproof") but it is definitely "Water Resistant"

There are Multiple Layers (Windbreaker-like Material on the Outside w/ Inner-Lining of Netting in the Torso, Smooth Fabric in the Arms & Fleece around the Neck) There are Zippers & Snaps on the Torso & Sleeves as well as the Drawstring Cincher at the Bottom Hem & the Chin Snaps on the Hood to keep the Jacket Closed to the Cold Air :)
