retro_world711 @amjluvs Hi! I did get an EU 42 in today, which is a men’s 9, and I could ship in the morning, but it turned out to be the narrow width, not the wide width. Personally, my boyfriend has small feet, too, he wears a 9 and I had him try these on, they fit like a glove. So if the person you are purchasing for has narrow to normal feet, I think it would be fine, but it’s hard to be sure. Unless measurements would help you at all... 💗

retro_world711 @waterstheaven I actually should clarify- these come in 2 widths for women- narrow, which is a woman’s A-B width, and woman’s regular, which is a woman’s C-D width. Most women find the narrow to be the best fit in the Arizona style. I have slightly wide feet and still prefer the narrow sizing. If you aren’t sure which would be best, you may want to see if you can try any on locally first.

These are the traditional Birkenstocks-Arizona Birko-Flor Nubuck- suede lined with a special textile they call Birko-flor on the outside upper for strength and durability. That’s a shame to hear the leather ones didn’t hold up well! I have just started to sell straight leather, but only have done a couple pairs so far and haven’t worn any myself yet.

I generally find Birks standard fine, but I really wish a lot of other brands would make more wide options. I 💗 boots, but they frequently rub on the outer part of the bone by my pinky toe. retro_world711 @kcastaneda15 Oh, no, that’s awful! I totally understand why you’d be hesitant. Yes, these are genuine Birkenstocks, made in Germany. They are generally store overstocks, so it’s possible they were tried on at some point, but I never accept ones that are not in pristine/brand new condition. My best rec would be to look at my love notes. I have sold tons of items and have never had any issues with authenticity. I’m so sorry that happened to you!

So these are womens size 8 narrow, or known as EU 39… usually I only carry the Arizona styling in narrow in women’s, but if you’d prefer a wide, I can definitely see what I can do. 😊💗

p_greenlea My question is, how do you know if they are copies or not? I bought a pair from another seller, and they wore out in 2 months. I was hoping to help my husbands bad foot. There is no way to contact that person, and I don’t know where to warn people. I was hoping you could tell me how to let Poshmark know there is a scammer selling on there. They could be in a different name. I read through your replies, and I can tell yours is legit. I wished I would have searched better before.

retro_world711 @p_greenlea (continued) I would think you should be able to get your money back in this situation. I would check on the page that shows that your item was delivered and look for problem/order inquiry. Through that you should be able to contact Posh and I think there’s a good chance they will refund you or credit you the money you spent once you explain what happened to you.

retro_world711 @p_greenlea As far as knowing if it’s a fake, that can be tough. But there should be a Birkenstock logo with the size, in both UK and American, inside the sole, plus the Birkenstock name is imprinted on side of shoe. But I don’t know, someone in one of these foreign countries that produce a lot of clothing/ shoes may have the ability to reproduce that.

It’s really too bad because the bigger something gets, the more people out there looking to scam! It used to feel more close knit…

I have a hard time finding the regular fit in women’s sizes for some reason… I can find it in larger sizes for men, but in this style, it’s usually the narrow for women.
