emedwin_ @proverbs31chic hi Rachel! This size/style speedy was not made with a strap. The handle has natural oil marks that all LV bags get. As far as proof of purchase, I attached a photo of the bag verification number inside, which any LV store can verify. You should be able to call, or go online to verify it, before making any purchase. Hope this helps! :)
