I’m so sick of people putting up fake, cheap CZ rings and tagging them Moissanite or Diamond!! I’ve reported it to Poshmark 3x but they never stop the big offenders. This is misleading. I hate to see people getting duped with fakes. It also makes searching for a real ring a pain because you have to sift through HUNDREDS of fakes! Please report these sellers and complain to Poshmark. Push the 3 dots at the top of each listing to report listing or write to customer support to report individuals.

gallerychaos @muppyduppy It’s so annoying. It makes shopping on Posh less enjoyable. 😕

gallerychaos
gallerychaos @jazzyjessa4123 I know! There’s one seller in particular Lakeview Apparel that has up hundreds!! I’ve reported them a bunch of times and written letters to posh. They have fakes and use tags like moissanite and diamond and even brand names of totally unrelated things like Coach. Ugh!

missstephlee Are Shan is selling “lab created” diamonds that are actually Hybrids which are just a cheap crystal with a plating or coating of carbon on the outside to mimic diamond. It passes in the common diamond tester tho so unless someone weighs it or does a more through test they won’t know until that outer layer chips off and you’re left with a dull crystal.

missstephlee I’ve been told it’s not “posh ambassador” attitude when I’ve tried to post about it to educate buyers since Posh didn’t do anything about it and didn’t even understand what I was trying to tell them. (A 5ct lab created diamond is worth over $15k, not the $109 on here🙄). Price alone screams Fake & yet they still sell. At least now I’ve seen there are other like minded sane poshers on here bcz I thought I was alone in this

gallerychaos @missstephlee OMG I didn’t know their scamming went that deep!!! Posh needs to take responsibility for these scammers. It’s RUINING the Posh experience! Thanks.
Oct 27Reply
missstephlee
missstephlee @gallerychaos I’m not even sure Areshna knows that those aren’t considered real diamonds, lab created or otherwise. But a 1ct lab created diamond is $3500-ish & a mine diamond is $5500iah per carat....anything far below that is fake. Those 2 sellers should be called out more. I’ve emailed Posh with those details but they didn’t understand and I could tell thought I was bitter over competition, which isn’t even close to the truth. I just hate seeing ppl scammed

gallerychaos @missstephlee Yes! I’ve reported Aresha so many times and I’ve stood Poshmark that all these fakes clog up the search with absolute cheap junk so you can’t search for a genuine Moissanite or Diamond! I used to enjoy shopping on this site. Sad. They should take responsibility for their own site and clean it up!!

gallerychaos
gallerychaos @missstephlee I’ve also gone through and reported so many individual listings for mistagging. A CZ song should not be listed under diamond or Moissanite. They know what they’re doing to get more searches because at the bottom of the listing they wrote totally unrelated tags like ruby, emerald, even designer names like Coach or Michael Kors! Wrong!

missstephlee
missstephlee @gallerychaos I agree. Hopefully more people see this post and email Posh as well. Power in numbers hopefully 🤞 I also do moderate the Reports being sent in often when they send the requests and am just waiting for one of theirs to cross my path bcz I’ll Agree with the Reporter & get their item pulled.

gallerychaos @missstephlee I had sort of given up. I think I wrote like 7 or 8 thoughtful letters pleading with them to take some action. Those people can still sell just under the proper categories. You are being kind and giving them more credit than I do! Either they are very uninformed and innocent or they are willfully tricking people! I’ll keep my eye out for your Moissanite styles. I’m kind of an addict! 😄

gallerychaos @arbeeheartslv Me too! So annoying! I’d never knowingly sell a fake. Not nice.

muppyduppy
muppyduppy @gallerychaos did you happen to see the "moissanite " ring that was purchased and reposhed. she called out the original seller after taking it to a jeweler and then reposhed it claiming it was authentic!!!
Feb 28Reply
gallerychaos
gallerychaos @muppyduppy No but I’m so tired of the scammers!! Especially the sellers Areshna and LakeviewApparel. They clog up the entire search for Moissanite with not just fake Moissanite but totally unrelated items like fake turquoise rings tagged with the word Moissanite!! I’ve reported them both to Posh at least a dozen times. They take down the listings then about 50 pop up a few hours later! They should be suspended for breaking Posh policies. Makes shipping & selling here less fun. 😒

gallerychaos @muppyduppy Sorry to go on such a rant! Lol
Feb 28Reply
muppyduppy
muppyduppy @gallerychaos please, I get it! I'm a buyer and moissanite lover. I can only look at certain sellers but it takes knowledge to figure that out. I can't imagine how many people have gotten unknowingly scammed. the fact that Poshmark is aware of who they are and do nothing is shameful.
Feb 28Reply
gallerychaos
gallerychaos @muppyduppy I agree! If you are so inclined you could try telling them you’re frustrated too. Maybe strength in numbers? You can also report individual listings for misstagging in the wrong category. On the upper right of every listing you can report. I’ve probably done it 100s of times. They miss-tag to get hits. Some put tags like Michael Kors Diamond and Moissanite on their cheap cz rings. So uncool.

muppyduppy @gallerychaos I've reported so many as well. the listings remain!!

syennan Omg I am so glad others have noticed this and attempted to do something about it! Just last night I made a comment on a “Diamond engagement ring set” for sale on here from some sham company for 96$, an item which came from online bidding site for literally 3.99. somehow they got my comments taken down and I was blocked. I would urge anyone looking for “fine” jewelry on here to check other sites. If the pictures are all the same and it seems too good to be true, guess what, it isn’t.
May 23Reply
gallerychaos
gallerychaos @syennan So true! Once I actually bought a fake and the seller accepted the return and claimed to not know but that was 2 years ago and she’s still selling the exact same ring claiming it’s Moissanite! I’ve reported the biggest offenders so many times. Poshmark gets them to take down some listings but an hour later they pop back up. They should get suspensions for repeatedly ripping people off!
May 23Reply
syennan
syennan @gallerychaos I totally agree; and I am shocked people are actually fools into thinking these are peoples real closets and not just wholesalers selling Chinese crap
May 23Reply
syennan
syennan Girlsadore, beejeqeledd, and penthouse luxe are all basically criminal enterprises as far as I’m concerned. I get that there is a markup for retail, but their items are parading as something they’re not and are sold using pics of totally different items
May 23Reply
gallerychaos
gallerychaos @syennan Terrible! Areshna and Lakeview Apparel are also huge offenders. They also tag tons of designer names just to get hits making it even harder to shop for what you actually want. So annoying.
May 23Reply
syennan
syennan Really though why would this site do anything about it- the fees that make from a knockoff going for 100$ I’m sure has something to do with their decision to allow these “boutique” scams to continue. Sorry… I’m on a mission now lol this makes me so mad
May 23Reply
gallerychaos
gallerychaos @syennan Oh good! Do you know how to report individual listings? I also sometimes write to customer support to report specific sellers. Sites like the one with the M are much stricter but I notices Areshna has infiltrated them too, not as bad. They take them down quicker.
May 23Reply
syennan
syennan @gallerychaos yeah I’ve found a few doing same thing on M. I did report the individual listing I commented on last night and I Reported the seller under the “replica” reason. I don’t know if they’ll follow up at all probably not
May 23Reply
gallerychaos
gallerychaos @syennan I reported on M for what they call “keyword stuffing” which they do like crazy. I noticed they take them down pretty quickly. Better than Posh. They might want those commissions on $100 items but if the higher end categories like diamond and Moissanite weren’t all polluted with cheap fakes I think they’d sell more. Why can’t these scammers just try selling them as what they are, CZ? 😡
May 23Reply
syennan
syennan @gallerychaos I know, that’s a good point. It’s just a shame so many people fall for it and somehow think “vintage moissanite 18k gold ring luxury women” makes any sense , or , more importantly, that it would cost 100$ lol
May 23Reply
syennan
syennan @gallerychaos well thank goodness for people like you guys leaving these comments on here: it’s the right thing to do!
May 23Reply
gallerychaos
gallerychaos @syennan Aww thanks. I hate to see people get ripped off. It’s not ethical. Maybe if we join forces and report them a lot Poshmark will make more of an effort!
May 23Reply
syennan
syennan @gallerychaos hey again, I made some listings as warning for people, showing some of the actual costs of the “genuine luxury” rings being sold by the big scammers. Feel free to share them. I don’t have many followers, but I really want people to know that this is 2.99 crap from Chinese wholesalers. Thanks! And I’ve now proudly been blocked several times lol
May 26Reply
gallerychaos
gallerychaos @syennan Awesome!! Good job getting blocked! 😂 Seriously though, that just proves what scammers they are.
May 26Reply
gallerychaos
gallerychaos @garnetowl I don’t mind at all!! 😁 Thanks for sharing it. Maybe if enough of us complain they’ll crack down in these fraudulent listings. Buyers are being taken advantage of and legitimate sellers are suffering!
Nov 29Reply
gallerychaos
gallerychaos @garnetowl Ugh. I didn’t even know about that scam. It is frustrating. Thanks for being one of the good ones!!😊
