Is the rise really that much higher on the size 29s? I guess I don’t usually think of rise as something that changes with size.

@jfleissn oh yes! you'd be shocked in general how much measurements change all over...on a daily basis I shake my head. no wonder women have such a hard time. the rise gets higher (slight to more based on style) as the waist size gets higher. this is often to allow for extra lower tummy room, etc. the 29's at that rise are still on the lower end of high rise. I've measured some at 13+ inches.
