Beware of overpriced KREEPTURES, I have seen people asking outrageous prices for them when they were never $1000 or $500. They were $26+plus taxes and $32 or $36+taxes. It's sick to try to rip off other buyers and it's unfair. Half of them aren't that rare another sick stunt I've seen. nocturnathrift I noticed people started doing this after they did there limited edition 666 made ones. They think they can get like $300 for all of them now lol. I refuse to buy from price gauges. I paid $40 for a sold out kreepture, which I think is reasonable for a sold out.

I feel bad for buyers who want them wish people would be honest. I get it we are here to make money and have fun, but overcharging someone is not good selling techniques. I've seen many Killstar items overpriced not just the KREEPTURES!

zonbiegrl71 I’m so happy to see that people are willing to stand up for what’s right. Price gouging is horrible. Yes everyone is trying to make extra money, especially through these hard times. honestly I see some prices and think that’s just too crazy. I refuse to give into those prices. Especially when the items are still available for purchase. I think if more people were like us and refused then sellers would have no choice but to conform. Now if production of Kreeptures stopped altogether then, yes they become Rare. I refuse to over spend on items as well, it's uncalled for and not fair. I get it, they are sought after but if I would sell mine (which I won't) I wouldn't price it for $100-$1000 that's a huge rip off

Just saw a bag on here ((that Killstar just released recently, mind you)) that was originally 50$ and someone priced it at 125$...for an item that is still mass produced and sold by the brand currently. It makes no sense to me! The Kreeptures are even worse. Why price a literal toy at 150$+ when it was sold at around 30$??

I think it's reasonable to price your item fairly, or a little high for the sake of haggling for that extra buck or two. If I'd sell mine which I wouldn't being my fiance got it while it was sold on the site for $36 and tax, I'd sell it for like $34 being the one eye got scratched somehow🤦🏻‍♀️. But I'd still never overprice one it's just plain dumb and not normal

calebzmommy I thought this was like others (ebay etc...) used items for used prices. I get (truly)rare/sold out items or limited designer items, but for the most part, resold items aren’t usually posted at double or triple retail price! I’ve been here less than a week and I’m totally discouraged. I saw a pair of boots that were destroyed And the seller listed them as “great shape!” at twice the original price. What’s funny is the retailer website still had the item still available for less than half!

calebzmommy I started on this website this week because I saw that they had a Killstar & Dolls Kill items. The recent 666 Kreepture sold out on the website within one hour. It was listed here two hours later for $289 all the way to $600! I’ve been searching for months for a Kreepture my son wanted SO badly (The only one I don’t have🙄 of coarse). I’ve only seen it once for $250 and it was in terrible shape. Still someone bought it within hours.

greeneyedgirl94 @calebzmommy I hear you, it's outrageous you really sometimes do take a gamble with items. it's why I post every flaw on an item and describe them. if my camera light can't capture it I still mention it. those items usually I sell for nothing. certain of my name brands are higher due to being from my personal wardrobe and are only slightly flawed from handing in my closet or light wear

Like I said of course you’re (I don’t mean you I just mean in general) gonna price items that are namebrand or whatever a little higher and I totally get that but to buy them and immediately post them hours later for triple what they actually cost?! Just because the website puts out an item, puts a number on it and says no restocks/won’t be making these again, doesn’t mean it’s something that is still worth that kind of money. Since he was small he's loved all things Greek, Norse, Egyptian mythology, so when he saw the Cerberus he wanted it so bad. And of course it’s the one I don’t have (no baphomets either). alittleanxious girl YES. people are insane. i just told a lady she was evil for selling pastel punk for $300 and moments later saw someone selling it for $500!!! people miss out because these assholes buy them just to sell for a ridiculous amount. I got emerald city and little pumpkin for 60 and 65 on d3p0p and to me that's reasonable, but any more is insane. they're like $50 for me after tax + shipping (the dark lords) so that is a fair price. but when you're asking ridiculous amounts you're evil.

mzgibs If I were to sell my Kreeptures dark lords, I’d probably do them in groups, and would only list for the total I paid. Which would be about 53 each. That’s with tax and shipping. After the fees here, I’d be losing some, but if they sold, that’s okay. I wouldn’t hike the price though. But remember there are collectors who can and will pay more for a limited edition anything.

venusbloodflow @greeneyedgirl94 I paid $50+ for every Kreepture I purchased including shipping & taxes. My state takes 10% of every sale & you have to consider the cut PM takes. The ones that are $26 are still in stock & not limited edition. When the Limited Edition are first released they cost $39.99 + $8 shipping. So what price would you consider fair for LE Kreeptures? I'm honestly asking as I have a couple I want to sell, but not unfairly.

greeneyedgirl94 @theda_b I agree completely, I price my items by rarity and condition. I NEVER make anything overpriced, underpriced I have because of not knowing it's actual worth. I refuse to be bullied by other sellers over telling them I'm not interested or I'm uncomfortable paying high amounts for items that aren't worth that much. I stand firm on my beliefs and have gotten blocked over it and for being bullied by other Killstar sellers🤷🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️

venusbloodflow @greeneyedgirl94 There are online bots & programs that people invest in to make purchases as soon as they go up for sale... before a human being can even check out with the item, hence Killstar changing their quantity of LE Kreeptures. Like what we were seeing with the PlayStation 5. I understand your frustrations completely & I'm sorry you had such a terrible experience. Just know that not everyone selling online has the same intentions.

I used to see LE Dark Lord's go for like $300, now they're struggling to flip em' for even double. 😈 I'll let you know if I see a decently priced Cerberus if you like?

merrydeath69 I also have to warn buyers about another scam, selling items for high prices that they got for a couple dollars on Wis*. I recently was a victim of a seller on here that sells sexy lingerie for high prices. She sold me a fishnet dress for $17, wouldn’t even go down a dollar. It came in cellophane and was ripped on two of the holes. I found the same item on Wis* for $1.79!! I was so mad, I called her out on it and she ignored me.

katobear23 @nocturnathrift I agree some are priced outrageously and the 666 or even the other ltd ed, gimmicky ones, are always posted high but negotiated down. The only ones that truly retain value are the OG ones, because they were first and how many Nekos, Basts, or in decent condition Blackout Dark Lords, bagged and tagged have been posted. True collectibles always retain value and appreciate over time. Problem is you need to watch for fakes because Cerberus was the 1st fake one I saw and not the last.
