@artsmitty I mean, sometimes climbing around on sandstone cliffs sucks and I fall down a lot, but the sand is kind to my aging bones.

@holymountaineer the sand is fortunate that I’m kind to it’s aging quartz.
I’ve never actually seen western collar tips before. I think it would be incredible to find some in solid 925 with a small turquoise cabochon set in them. Don’t get me wrong I love these, and I havent looked through your Instagram entirely, but you should expand!

@artsmitty I actually have some turquoise hearts set on some sterling silver tips and can do more also.

@artsmitty Yeah, I got a guy down in Bisbee who sells great stuff and we trade from time to time. Turquoise is just expensive and I can find jade on the beach!

@holymountaineer in-season gems, I like that! In my near future, I see myself as a patron of the gentleman’s club, wearing the most eye catching collar flare, and I the finest of snaps with the built in convenience the ladies cannot resist from disrobing. I find it delightfully entertaining that I will purchase your garments with the specific intent on them being removed. The guys that don’t know should pay respect to one who displays gestures of the speaker such as yourself.

@artsmitty Right on. if you hit me up on IG in the DMs, and want to make a several items type order I'll happily cut you a deal.

@artsmitty because unfortunately I have to keep prices artificially high here because poshmark takes MASSIVE CUTS of the seller's money.
Feb 24Reply

artsmitty
@holymountaineer absolutely, I know it’s a steep cut for sellers on markets that are posh. Personally I flip thrift finds on bays of e at about a 10p cut but not the best for garments. I’ll follow your instructions and purchase some listings for sure.

@artsmitty I also sell there & other places. A lot of my stuff comes from estate sales in Ranch Land California & Nevada. I'm working on getting a Brick & mortar store because I've got over a thousand items at this point of Western wear & I do a lot of custom work like designing & making cowboy hats & Pearl Snap Western Shirts. I also include a free bandana w/ the Barbary Ghost logo designed by Mary Joy Scott, who was Ed Hardy's last tattoo apprentice.

@holymountaineer I don’t give a damn what brands you find a way to associate yourself with :) :) :) you ARE the brand. I will be sure to pay a pal via friends and family option for inventory with a 0 cut (trust has been established) when my mother bear compensates me for my dishwashing this week.
Feb 24Reply

holymountaineer
@artsmitty Thanks brother. Barbary Ghost is my "brand" or company, which is basically me and my money man(ager) the anarchist accountant, Mark Stevens, who doubles as my best friend.
