@nodowdaboutit hi! It is a single layer fabric with netted fabric over it that holds the rhinestones. I personally hand wash mine as i don’t want any rhinestones to go missing, however i always recommend machine washing these in a netted bag on delicate cycle to avoid the rhinestones falling off
