Antique East Indian Spice Box

An incredible piece, this was hand crafted over 100 years ago in the Far East. The brass work is detailed: a combination of chasing, repousse & lacy metal cut work. Hand carved of thick mahogany, it’s got that gorgeous glow that only time can bestow. Early 20th Century, good vintage condition with heavy patina, the latch is fine, the wood cracks are stable. It came to me with a potpourri of lavender in it, so it will be sent as found. Listing is for the antique box only.
