katesnowden This is hilarious and I actually buy Burberry 😂 I’m trying to get away from that though because not only is the quality not anywhere near good enough to justify the pricing, but ever since luxury has become commonplace (I guess ordinary people just use credit cards and/or or go into debt) it’s created nearly the same as fast fashion. Meaning they’re charging you $6500 for a bag that starts falling apart within 1-2 years (which once would have easily lasted 20+ years)

katesnowden Lol sorry I don’t necessarily expect a reply. I’d prb rather buy stuff like this now than waste my money trying to impress others. But they really do think like this (or at least did). For instance, at Saint Laurent (YSL) I was looking at these super ridiculously miniature “bags” (they may have been all but 4” height, 2” length) and I asked the sales guy why anyone would drop $750 on something not even functional?

katesnowden His reply was “You get people in here who can’t afford the full size items, & they’re desperate to show off anything with the brand name. At first I think it was created more as a joke, but then after they started selling, a lot more were ordered. People with money just use them as bag charms to decorate their larger bags.” I can’t believe he even told me this 🤦🏼‍♀️ lol I’ll shut up now 🤐
