Finely crafted Full length 100% Cashmere Over-Coat. SIZE 6 Lovely piping and a sleek Satin lining create a very luxurious feel, cashmere has a very soft hand. I wore this about 10 times for short This was NOT purchased on sale. $1200 in 1998. A 100% cashmere coat of this quality would set you back $2000 today. Deep black. Some Photos look lighter so you can see the details. Kick Pleat in the back Double Breasted Extra button inside. Long sleeves with cuffs Beautiful Piping on collar and cuffs. 100% Satin lining This is a Full length Overcoat ! Very good condition no holes or pills. From Nordstrom’s M & R ( exclusively Nordstrom’s fancy section) It still fits me but I wear a size 10 now. But I don’t think bigger will fit. It measures about 40 inches wide.

dianehartmann @everlovingdavid armpit to armpit is 20 inch Length is 54 inches Gorgeous coat but I do not own a scale and can’t weigh the coat itself. Paid over $1000 at Nordstrom’s way back in 1999 but rarely wore as I moved to Las Vegas from Seattle and retired. Thank you

dianehartmann @2ccarlino2 hi, I’m so sorry for the delay in replying. I don’t check my account or email much anymore. Yes, there are 2 pockets on either side of the coat on the side seams. It’s a beautiful coat and I moved from Seattle to Vegas and it’s been in a plastic garment bag so it’s basically brand new. I can give a coupon for twen ty. It is a size 6 - 8. 100% cashmere.

dianehartmann @2ccarlino2 hi, so I just took the coat out of the bag,and the coat measures approx. 51 inches at longest point, not 54. For reference, I am 5 foot 6 inches tall. The coat hits me approx 2 inches above my ankle. The sleeves are very long, but you can fold them up. FYI, the coat cashmere is not the same softness as a cashmere sweater. It would fall apart. It could probably use a dry clean as it’s been in a bag for 20 years.

2ccarlino2 why do you say that it needs a cleaning? Is it dirty now or musky smelling? maybe you'll take my offer if it needs a cleaning which is going to cost me quite some? your thoughts? More importantly can you tell me how long the sleeves are? I have a coat that is 90% virgin wool and 10% cashmere and it is very soft. This coat is soft too correct?

dianehartmann @2ccarlino2 I just looked and I guess you could turn the collar in the back up it seems heavy enough to stay up but it’s only about 2 inches on the back so it might not be high enough for you. I don’t know. I never wore it like this and I don’t think honestly it was intended to wear with the collar up but like I’m not sure because I’ve never lived in a really cold place with a lot of snow.

dianehartmann @2ccarlino2 it’s not dirty and I did have a dry cleaned before I stuck it in the plastic garment bag but I think that the cashmere because it’s been in a bag for 20 years is not as soft as it was when I last looked at it so that’s why I say dry clean it to make the hundred percent cashmere nicer and softer and fluffy again because it’s not fluffy anymore. I don’t want you to buy this coat and not like it because then you’ll return it and it’s just a big hassle so please make sure.

dianehartmann @2ccarlino2 No, the coat does not have cuffs sewn. There is a twined black piping trim around the cuffs —bottom of the sleeve. There’s about 2 inches of fabric that can be turned up if you wish. It’s not meant to be turned up at the cuff. It’s just possible.

dianehartmann By the way, the coat is really soft. That was my mistake. I had a problem with my fingers with some eczema so I felt rough when it wasn’t so that all my towels and blankets anyway just wanted to let you know it’s really a beautiful coat.
