Would you be able to put a cushion cut in this setting? Do you have any in stock like 1.5-2 carat stone in white gold or sterling with white rhodium. Need like a size 3-4

I’m starting to make size 4 and bigger for all my rings going forward so I’ll have this in a size 4 in March & I can make this one in your size/3 when I do those.
The halo under it is in a round shape so a cushion won’t lay perfectly flush on top.

I can make it with a cushion in your size but I’d have to make it from scratch.
Right now I’m working on my next batch of new designs so I wouldn’t be able to start it until the end of Feb.
I would charge $1000 for this ring in a custom cushion.
Customs I’ll make exactly how/size you want it but I ask for a deposit of half as it’s harder for me to sell Customs if the buyer doesn’t follow thru after I take the time to make it. So I ask for deposits to protect myself.

@abbys1386 TY ☺️. I will be adding both gold & sizes 4 & up but they won’t be ready until March most likely. Doing solid gold would up the price approx $300 so I do 14k over 925 silver to keep the price lower for my gold pieces.

@visionarygrind Yes, many are wearing it as an engagement ring on left hand but I’m seeing more and more wear several my rings on middle or index fingers or on the right hand so it just depends on one’s style and desires of they like showing off the sparkles of the gem itself.

@pattiwalk I can plate in 14k gold no problem. Plating lasting depends so much on your lifestyle/hand. Generally a year for mild gentle wear; if you don’t wear it in water (except when cleaning with a gentle liquid dish soap), but no salt, chlorine or hard shower water and aren’t too active with your hands, no gym weights, gardening or wearing another ring against it.

@lynnekrn I always prefer white bcz the yellow gold can be reflected in the clear stone making it look a slight yellow tinge whereas the white metal will not reflect any color into it leaving it looking as clear as it truly is.

@lynnekrn I work with both. I make solid Platinum, solid 14k gold, solid 14k white gold (which is sold 14k gold with rhodium platinum over it to cover the yellow with a shiny white), or I do Vermeil which is just like white gold but instead of gold as the base covered with rhodium, I use solid 935 sterling silver as the base & cover with 14k gold or Rhodium (which is a platinum) over it. The silver keeps the price lower than solid Platinum or solid 14k.

@lynnekrn It would not meet my quality standards to sell. When one buys a mass produced ring from China they often have a look to them that I describe as “chunky”. The metal is too thick around the stones and it just looks cheap no matter the quality of the stone. It’s bcz they don’t alter the initiating size to allow for the plating afterwards. The prongs will look like a thick stick blob instead of blending into the ring.
