Here’s some new ones in the works next. I move new ones in here every month or so, so keep checking back. All made from solid 925 Sterling Silver w/ Rhodium Platinum over it, just like “white gold”, except solid silver instead of 58% gold (aka 14k) underneath the Rhodium Platinum outer layer. All side gems are top quality D, VVS1 Jewel Eternal™️ Moissanite. All Jewel Eternal gems, come w/ the Gemologist report/Lab report & has inscribed it’s serial # into the girdle of gem.

missstephlee Bottom 2 designs are “floating” center line of stones. The 1st has a slightly larger center Stone & I’ll add Moissy, Sapphires or Rubies to the outer line stones leading to the center. The last drawing is all same size & I’ll set with Moissy, Sapphs, Rubies or any mixture/designs of those. I can set any of my Rings with any of my top quality Jewel Eternal gems that I have made & cut to my specifications.

cocoli0325 @missstephlee wondering if you make any ring with pear shape? Thanks

missstephlee @cocoli0325 I have one planned with 3 tiny stones clustered at the middle of each side but I won’t be starting it until after I finish this new batch I’m just now starting. I’m trying to put out new designs each month so it would be my March batch.

visionarygrind Can you make the middle one in white gold?

missstephlee
missstephlee @visionarygrind I can but only with a deposit of half. Adding the 14k gold underneath instead of solid silver adds approx $300 to the price, which is why I ask for a real commitment to buy.

missstephlee @visionarygrind “White gold” isn’t a real thing. 14k gold is 58% gold with the remainder being nickel/zinc & is a light yellow color. They then plate it with rhodium platinum which is a shiny “white”/silver color. Mine are the exact same on the outside (of rhodium platinum) but the inside is solid 926 steel silver. When the plating wears thin, the gold will show thru but with silver underneath it blends as both are silver color.

missstephlee @visionarygrind In my opinion, as a jewelry maker I find “white gold” to be one of the biggest marketing scams of the jewelry business. If you like the white look and want a solid band (instead of just plated), I always suggest Platinum. Platinum is cheaper-nearly half- to buy compared to gold too (not that jewelers lower the price bcz it’s all about keeping perception in jewelry stores).

missstephlee @visionarygrind Only 2 reasons gold became popular. 1. is bcz it holds value vs keeping your money in a bank. For practical jewelry purposes it’s far too soft in its 100% form (aka 24k which is 24/24 parts are gold. 14k is 14/24 parts gold & 10k is 10/24 parts gold) to hold a hard gem like diamonds & Moissanites which is why jewelers have to mix it with zinc/nickel thus hardening it. 2. It looks good on warm skin tones vs cool tone skin looks better with platinum/silver looks

visionarygrind @missstephlee thanks for the info. So what do you charge for platinum? Are all the rings plated or solid? Is it possible to get solid silver or platinum then?
Feb 03Reply
visionarygrind
visionarygrind Sorry I reread what you wrote. Is the price the same for solid or is it plated?
Feb 03Reply
missstephlee
missstephlee @visionarygrind The prices are for plated. Solid ups the price approx $300 (plus Posh’s 20% so closer to $360) on top of plated price listed.

missstephlee @visionarygrind So price jumps from $600 to almost $1000.

missstephlee @visionarygrind I’ll do solid silver for smaller gems at custom request but I have to explain before doing that Silver is too soft to hold a diamond or Moissanite. You bump your hand or get caught on a sweater and the prongs will bend & possible lost of gem.

missstephlee
missstephlee @visionarygrind It’s why you never see a diamond ring in silver on a jewelry store. It’s why I put rhodium plating over the silver. Even my gold rings I all prefer to make the prongs in Rhodium for strength it gives —not to mention you don’t want yellow metal reflecting in your clear gem making it look more yellow tinged.

missstephlee
missstephlee @frmhoustonwlove Yes I do! 🙂 My Classic Solitaire I have as small as 3.5 & every half size up to 8.5. And if I don’t have your size in my other styles already, I can make them in your size with a deposit of half.
