margaret434@staceyhaase the measurement is approximately 25 3/4 inches but I added a picture so you could see that is with the sweater closed. It is not a sweater that has an zipper or buttons, it hangs open which means it would probably be a little bigger across. I hope this helps. Let me know. I put the measurements for all the pieces you requested. Thank you for your compliment and interest. I love them all, but tags still on most items and I need to downsize. 😄🌺

staceyhaase@margaret434 I appreciate having that info. I'm not sure 25.75 inches will work for me, especially after the sweater is washed. Most of my 3X sweaters/blouses/jackets are about 28 inches, so this may be a little snug.
